The fact that Debbie Gibson is getting all the attention just because she's older doesn't mean we should be celebrating this as some kind of comeback victory lap. It's like, hello, isn't there anyone else trying to make music these days? I'm still low-key disappointed in her discography - have you listened to 'The Body Remembers'? It's meh 
! I was a kid when "Electric Youth" first came out, but it still holds up today 
. I think it's awesome that she's embracing this new chapter and not just doing it for nostalgia - she really seems to be enjoying the process 
. It's great to see her still got the spark 
! And can we talk about how amazing her stage presence is? She's 55 and killing it on Jimmy Kimmel Live! 
. I'm all for artists reinventing themselves and pushing their creative boundaries - Debbie's definitely doing that with this latest comeback
