This 4-alarm fire is a nightmare for those affected . Can't believe people have to go through that trauma & homelessness . Hope the investigation finds out what caused it & the community gets support .
OMG this is just devastating, 28 people left homeless due to a fire that could've been prevented if only someone had reported a suspicious smell or something... it's just crazy how fast those flames spread I heard the whole block was affected, can you imagine walking out of your apartment and everything being gone? the worst part is the unknown, not knowing what caused this fire or when they'll get their homes back
Ugh, that's so unfair ! Can't believe someone's life is turned upside down like that. Fire safety measures just aren't being taken seriously enough, you know? Like, shouldn't there be more sprinklers or something in old buildings? I mean, it's not like it's a new concept to have fire alarms and whatnot... Anyway, hope those people get the help they need ASAP!
man that's so sad 28 people left homeless it could've been a lot worse i guess they got lucky on that minor injury thing hopefully the cause of the fire gets found out soon so they can get back to their lives i feel bad for all those ppl who lost everything
man this is a terrible thing that happened in yonkers , 28 people left homeless it's like they just lost their whole life in one night, you feel me? and the worst part is no one knows what caused the fire yet, it's like they're stuck in limbo not knowing if they'll ever get back home or rebuild their lives . my heart goes out to all those affected by this tragedy, we need to come together as a community to support them during this tough time .
"Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it." The fact that a four-alarm fire has ravaged an entire residential area leaves you speechless, especially when the exact cause is still unknown. It's heartbreaking to think of those 28 people who've lost their homes and now have to face the uncertainty of finding new shelter. As one official said, "Injury is merely a matter of time," but the emotional toll will take much longer to heal.
