Eagles stay or go: Tight end and fullback

So the Eagles are having a crisis about who's gonna play tight end and fullback... sounds like they're having a fowl day . I mean, Dallas Goedert is getting old (31?) and might not be able to block like he used to. That's like me trying to do 3 pull-ups at the gym... ain't gonna happen . On the other hand, Grant Calcaterra... yeah, that name sounds like a math problem . Either way, I hope they don't bring back Kylen Granson just for the laughs . VanSumeren might be back though, and if he does, it'll be like a miracle on third base !

so i think the eagles need to make some tough decisions on their tight end and fullback roles... they gotta weigh whether dallas goedert is worth the investment at 31, or if grant calcaterra is just holding them back on the other hand, kylen granson seems like a decent replacement for latu but vansumeren's injury history is a major concern maybe they should give him one last shot, but it'd have to be at a super low cost anyway, i think it's time for them to shake things up and try something new

Man, I'm getting anxious about our Eagles' tight end situation... Dallas Goedert's gonna be a big free agent, but idk if teams will break the bank on him . He's still got skills, but blocking is like, his biggest weakness. Can't have him holding up the line and making it tough for our QBs to run.

On the other hand, I'm kinda surprised they're not giving Grant Calcaterra a one-way ticket out of town . I mean, he just doesn't bring much to the table on offense or defense. And Kylen Granson's contract is pretty sweet, so it'd be weird for them to re-sign him.

Cameron Latu's my guy, though! He's always been reliable on special teams and as a fullback . I hope they keep him around, even if he doesn't start every game.

And poor VanSumeren... knee injuries are no joke, but if he can get back to form, maybe the Eagles will take another shot at him. Fingers crossed for this guy!

omg i cant even imagine the eagles without dallas goedert he's like their franchise tight end lol idk what they'll do if they dont re sign him tho, grant calcaterra is just not good enough for me i mean i feel bad for him but cmon kylen granson might get a shot tho, he wasnt that bad last season cant wait to see whats gonna happen with vansumeren hopefully he gets his knee fixed and can make it back to the team

I feel like the Eagles need to take a closer look at Grant Calcaterra... He's not living up to expectations and if they think he won't be any good for the future, it's time to cut him loose. But at the same time, it's hard to imagine someone else stepping in right away - they'll have to find some kinda solution for that position.

And can you blame them if they don't want to re-sign Kylen Granson? He didn't exactly do much last season and they've got some other options on the cheap. But it would be nice if they could get him to stay at least as a backup.
