Is this some kinda trend or something? I get that voter fraud is a thing, but at the same time, I don't want to see people getting turned away from voting just because they can't scrounge up an ID. And now there are people saying it'll disproportionately affect voters of color... it's just not right.

anyway, i think it's weird that democrats in PA are suddenly all for voter ID now... wasnt there some controversy about gerrymandering in the state?
. i mean, senator fetterman is right that it's not unreasonable to show id when voting, but the way musk reacted with just "awesome" makes it seem like he's not taking into consideration all the potential consequences 
. what if some people can't get their hands on an id or can't afford it? that would kinda defeat the purpose of voting in the first place 
. and what about all those people who don't have proof of citizenship or don't know how to get one? it's just another way to restrict voting access in my book 
. and now that musk is on board, it's gonna be tough to convince people otherwise

but at the same time, let's not forget that millions of ppl are already facing barriers when trying to cast their ballots
