can't believe what's going down with the FBI raid on WaPo reporter Hannah Natanson! 
it's like they're trying to silence everyone who speaks truth to power. 
I mean, the whole thing just feels so fishy 
, especially with that sham pretext about Aurelio Perez-Lugones. Like, what's really going on here? 
is this some kind of intimidation tactic to get other journalists to chill out? because if it is, we need to call BS 
and stand up for press freedom! 
I mean, think about it... a raid on someone's home based on a sham pretext? Sounds like a total abuse of power 
. But at the same time, can we say that's not what happens when you're playing with fire and messing with the press ? I'm not saying the FBI didn't overstep their bounds here... but maybe this is an opportunity for Congress to step up and say "hey, we got a problem" . And honestly, if it means more people are speaking out against this kind of thing, then I'm all for it 
. We need journalists like Hannah Natanson who aren't afraid to shine a light on the dark stuff 
. Maybe this raid is just what the press needs to get more scrutiny and attention 
... It's like they're trying to send a message that journalists can't just do their jobs without being watched. I mean, what's next? Them coming for our homes too? 
The whole thing just feels like a huge overreach of power. I'm all for investigating Aurelio Perez-Lugones and his alleged misdeeds, but did the FBI really need to bust up Natanson's house to get that info? And what about the media protections that Pam Bondi axed last year? Was it just a ploy to make journalists more "cooperative"? I'm starting to think that the US government is more concerned with keeping secrets than with telling the truth. they're literally trying to silence journalists who do their job?? like what even is the point of having a free press if you can just raid people's homes over a made-up pretext? it's outrageous and we need to stand up for our right to know. journalists are not the enemy, they're the ones who hold those in power accountable. we should be supporting them not harassing them and what's with all these gag orders and revoked media credentials? like isn't that just a fancy way of saying "we're scared of the truth"? 
. I mean, think about it - if they can raid someone's home just because of some shady contractor? It's like, where does it end? . And let's not forget, Pam Bondi is the one who made that rule change in the first place... sounds like a clever ploy to silence reporters
