Former astronaut on lunar spacesuits: "I don't think they're great right now"

Astronauts gotta flex their muscles just to do basic stuff 🤦‍♂️

Fingernails don't stand a chance against the Apollo suit's glovies 👎

Ugh, I'm so tired of reading about how hard it is to design a spacesuit 🤯. Like, isn't this something we've been working on since like, ever? Can't they just get it right by now? 😒 The compression issue is pretty wild – I mean, who thought it was a good idea to make a suit that makes you feel like you're wearing a sausage skin? 🤪

And don't even get me started on the gloves 🙄. Fingernails getting all damaged because of some stupid design flaw? Give me a break! It's not like they didn't test it before sending astronauts to space... I mean, what's the deal with that? 😂

But you know what really gets my goat? The fact that they're still having these conversations 🤔. Like, shouldn't we have had "spacesuit 2.0" by now? It feels like we're just rehashing old problems instead of actually innovating 🚀. Still, I guess it's good to see NASA learning from its mistakes and trying to improve – here's to hoping they get it right next time! 👍

ugh i feel bad 4 da astronauts 😩 they gotta deal w/ so many probs like compression & muscle fatigue... i wonder how dem manage w/ it all 👀 it's crazy 2 think bout all da tech gone into makin a suit 4 lunar explorin' 🤯 hope dey get it right dis time 💪
