From climbing Kilimanjaro to cycling the Tour de France route … readers' favourite organised challenges

Tackling a big challenge can be daunting, but with the right mindset and preparation, it can also be an incredible adventure. For some, this means taking on a marathon or triathlon, while for others, it might mean climbing a mountain or completing a long-distance cycle.

For those who prefer something a bit more unique, there are plenty of options available, from abseiling off a helipad to participating in a fancy dress marathon through vineyards. Whether you're looking for an adrenaline rush or just a fun way to challenge yourself, there's sure to be a challenge out there that suits your style.

If you're feeling adventurous and want to take on something new, why not try your hand at one of these challenges? Not only will you be pushing yourself to new heights (literally in some cases!), but you'll also have the opportunity to experience something truly special. And who knows, you might just find that you have a hidden talent for adventure.

Of course, before you start planning your challenge, it's worth considering a few things. Firstly, make sure you're physically prepared for what you've got planned - no point taking on a marathon if you can't even manage a brisk walk! Secondly, research your chosen challenge thoroughly to ensure it's something that's right for you. And finally, don't be afraid to seek out advice and support from others who have completed the challenge before.

Whatever your challenge may be, the most important thing is to remember to enjoy the journey (and not just the destination!). With the right mindset and preparation, you'll be well on your way to achieving your goals and making memories that will last a lifetime.

I'm super skeptical about these "challenges" everyone's always going on about 🤔... like, what's wrong with just staying home and reading a book? I mean, how many people really need an excuse to torture themselves physically or mentally just for the sake of it? And don't even get me started on the "hidden talent" nonsense - most people are just winging it and hoping they don't die 🙅‍♂️. And have you seen the prices for these fancy challenges? It's like they're trying to rob us blind 💸... I'll stick to my couch, thanks 😴

idk what i think about these adventure challenges 🤔... like, some people might find it super exciting to try new things, but others might just be bored out of their minds 😴... and don't even get me started on the fancy dress marathon thing - who thought that was a good idea? 🙄... but at the same time, if you're into that sorta stuff, go for it! life's too short to sit around watching paint dry, right? ⏱️... just saying, make sure you're prepared and don't overdo it or you'll end up in the hospital 🏥...

🤩 I'm all about trying new things and pushing my limits! Taking on a challenge can be super intimidating at first, but once you get into it, it's like this awesome rush of excitement 💥. Like, have you ever tried an escape room? It's so much fun! And the best part is, everyone's different, so there's always gonna be something out there that suits your vibe 🎉. Just make sure to pace yourself and listen to your body, 'cause we don't want anyone getting hurt 😔. I've been thinking of trying that fancy dress marathon thing – sounds like a blast!

🌏 I think it's awesome how people are finding ways to push themselves beyond their limits. I mean, who wouldn't want to try something crazy like abseiling off a helipad? 😱 It's not just about the thrill of it all, but also about personal growth and discovering what you're capable of. Of course, safety first is always important, so making sure you're prepared and researching your chosen challenge thoroughly is key. I've seen people take on these types of challenges in Europe and Asia, and it's really inspiring to see how others are pushing boundaries too. Maybe one day, we'll have even more extreme adventures that bring people together from all over the world 🌈

I saw this article from like 3 days ago 🤷‍♀️ I think trying unique challenges can be super fun but also kinda intimidating at first? I mean who's gonna take down an adventure challenge if they're not even sure what to expect lol! But seriously, the article is right on point about being physically and mentally prepared beforehand. I've done a few obstacle courses with friends and it was so much more enjoyable when we all knew what to expect 🏋️‍♀️
