Gonna be golden? Who will – and should – win the big awards at the 2026 Grammys

The 2026 Grammys are shaping up to be a highly competitive event, with several talented artists vying for top honors. In the Record of the Year category, Kendrick Lamar and SZA's Luther is poised to take home the award, thanks to its massive commercial success and artistic chemistry between the two legends.

However, it's worth noting that the Grammys have historically favored artists who combine huge commercial success with a sense of cultural relevance, and while Luther is undeniably a standout track, other nominees like Bad Bunny's DTMF and Rosé & Bruno Mars' APT. are also strong contenders.

In the Album of the Year category, Bad Bunny's Debí Tirar Más Fotos is looking like a dark horse to win, thanks to its innovative blend of Latin styles and pure musicality. The album has been widely praised by critics and fans alike, and could potentially take home the award.

Other notable nominees include Justin Bieber's Swag and Kendrick Lamar's GNX, although both albums have had some mixed reviews from critics. Tyler, the Creator's Chromakopia is also a strong contender, although it may struggle to top Bad Bunny's album in terms of overall impact.

In the Song of the Year category, Huntr/x's Golden is looking like a front-runner, thanks to its catchy hooks and memorable melody. However, other nominees like Kendrick Lamar and SZA's Luther and Billie Eilish's Wildflower are also strong contenders, and could potentially take home the award.

The Best New Artist category is another area where several talented artists are vying for top honors. Olivia Dean is looking like a dark horse to win, thanks to her rising popularity and critically-acclaimed debut album The Art of Loving.

Other notable nominees include Katseye and Lola Young, both of whom have been making waves in the pop scene with their catchy hooks and memorable melodies. However, it's worth noting that Grammy voters often tend to favor established artists over newcomers, so Dean may face stiff competition from her peers.

The Best Pop Solo Performance category is another area where several talented artists are vying for top honors. Chappell Roan's The Subway is looking like a strong contender, thanks to its memorable melody and impressive vocal range. However, other nominees like Justin Bieber's Daisies and Lola Young's Messy are also worth considering.

The Best Rock Performance category is another area where several talented artists are vying for top honors. Yungblud's take on Ozzy Osbourne's Changes is looking like a strong contender, thanks to its energetic performance and catchy hooks. However, other nominees like Linkin Park's The Emptiness Machine and Tyler, the Creator's Darling, I are also worth considering.

Finally, in the Best Rap Performance category, Kendrick Lamar and SZA's Luther is looking like a front-runner, thanks to its massive commercial success and artistic chemistry between the two legends. However, other nominees like Clipse's Chains & Whips and Doechii's Anxiety are also strong contenders, and could potentially take home the award.

In the Best Country Solo Performance category, Zach Top's I Never Lie is looking like a dark horse to win, thanks to its catchy hooks and memorable melody. However, other nominees like Tyler Childers' Nose on the Grindstone and Lainey Wilson's Somewhere Over Laredo are also worth considering.

🤔 The Grammys have always been super competitive, but I think it's gonna be a close call this year 🎉. Bad Bunny's album is looking really strong, especially with all the Latin styles he brought to the table 🌯️. But at the same time, Kendrick Lamar and SZA's Luther is still my fave – that song just has something special to it ❤️. I'm also keeping an eye on Olivia Dean, she's got some serious talent under her belt 🎸. But you never know what's gonna happen on Grammy night... anything can win, right? 😬

idk why we need more Grammys winners who are total superstars 🤷‍♂️ think its time to give some new faces a chance, like Olivia Dean 🙌 her album The Art of Loving is getting so much love from critics and fans, maybe she should get the nod for Best New Artist?

🤔 the Grammys are always a mixed bag imo... they love to give awards to artists who have huge commercial success but still manage to make something culturally relevant like Bad Bunny's album did. but what about all the new talent out there who dont fit that mold? its kinda frustrating when you think about it, because i know we need more people pushing boundaries and creating music thats true to themselves 🎶

🤔 Grammys always crazy competitive 🎉 I think it's dope that Bad Bunny got a shot at Album of the Year tho 🎶 His Latin vibes changing up the game 💥 Would love to see Tyler, The Creator's Chromakopia get some recognition too 🔍 Olivia Dean's debut album is fire 🔥 gotta root for her in Best New Artist 🌟

I'm fascinated by this year's Grammy lineup 🎶. The diversity in artists across all categories is truly commendable. Kendrick Lamar and SZA's Luther being a top contender for Record of the Year makes sense, given its critical acclaim and commercial success. However, I think Bad Bunny's Debí Tirar Más Fotos has a unique shot at Album of the Year, not only because of its innovative Latin style but also due to its cultural relevance in today's music landscape 🌎.

I'm also keeping an eye on Olivia Dean for Best New Artist; her critically-acclaimed debut album and rising popularity make her a strong contender. Meanwhile, the Pop Solo Performance category has some exciting nominees, with Chappell Roan's The Subway being a standout track 🎤.

What I find intriguing is how these categories often reflect broader cultural trends and social commentary in music. Artists like Kendrick Lamar and SZA are using their platforms to address pressing issues, while others like Bad Bunny are pushing the boundaries of Latin music. It'll be interesting to see which artists receive recognition for their work 🎵

I'm really hyped for the 2026 Grammys! I've been listening to a lot of music lately 🎵 and I think it's gonna be so hard to choose just one winner in each category. Have you seen any of these artists live? I tried to watch Kendrick Lamar's concert online but my internet was super slow 😩. Did you know that some people are saying that the Grammys should have a new rule where all nominees get a prize, even if they don't win? That way everyone feels good about it 🤗. What do you think about the album artwork for Bad Bunny's Debí Tirar Más Fotos? I love how colorful and fun it is!

I'm so confused about these Grammy categories... like what even is the diff between Record of the Year and Song of the Year? Is it just that Record of the Year has to be a whole song, but Song of the Year can be like a single or somethin? 🤔🎶

And who's Huntr/x? I looked them up and they don't seem to have any music out yet... are they like some new artist that just popped up outta nowhere? 🌟

Also, can someone explain to me why there's a category for Best Country Solo Performance but not Best Pop Solo Performance? Don't get me wrong, Zach Top's song is catchy and all, but it seems kinda random to have separate categories for country and pop... 🎸👀

just saw that there's gonna be a huge shortage of semiconductors in 2026 🤯 they're sayin people can't even get their hands on basic components for electronics it's like we got stuck back in the dark ages 📚 and the worst part is, it's not just tech companies that are gonna get hit, regular folks too 👥

🤔 2026 Grammys gonna be lit! I think Bad Bunny's album gotta win Album of the Year tho 🎉. Debí Tirar Más Fotos got some crazy Latin vibes goin on 🌴. And can we talk about how strong the nominees are in the Rap Performance category? Clipse's Chains & Whips is straight fire 🔥. Should be an epic night at the Grammys! man i think it's gonna be such a close competition at the 2026 grammys 🤯 especially with bad bunny's album being a dark horse to win in album of the year... that would be so inspiring for artists who didn't get much recognition yet 💖 and huntr/x's golden is looking really strong in song of the year too 🎶 i hope olivia dean gets some love as best new artist she seems like such an amazing talent 🌟

OMG, can't wait for the 2026 Grammys! 🎉🔥 The competition is gonna be SO fierce in all categories, especially Record of the Year where I think #SZAandKendrickLamar's Luther has a solid chance of taking home the award 💪 But let's not forget about those dark horses like Bad Bunny's Debí Tirar Más Fotos - it's innovative vibe might just steal the show 🌟 And can we talk about the newbies? 🤩 Olivia Dean, Katseye and Lola Young are all giving me LIFE with their fresh sounds #NewMusic #GrammyBound

omg have you seen the list of nominees for the 2026 Grammys yet? I'm low-key hyped for Bad Bunny's Debí Tirar Más Fotos to take home Album of the Year 🤩 it's been getting so much love from critics and fans alike... like, who else is gonna give Kendrick Lamar a run for his money? also, Olivia Dean is an total dark horse in the Best New Artist category - I'm here for it 💁‍♀️

I think it's kinda crazy how diverse the nominations are this year, you feel? Like, you got artists from all over the world and different genres. I'm low-key rooting for Bad Bunny to take home Album of the Year tho! His album is SO FIRE 💥🎶 And I gotta say, I'm loving the vibe of Olivia Dean too - The Art of Loving is giving me LIFE 🎵💖 What do you think about the competition in Song of the Year?

🤔 the thing is, i think the grammys can be kinda weird when it comes to rewarding artists who are still pretty new 🌱 like olivia dean for her critically-acclaimed album... shouldn't they just give her a nod or something? 🙃 and what's up with the voting process? some people say that grammy voters tend to favor established artists over newcomers 💔 anyway, it seems like there's a lot of talented artists vying for those top spots this year 💥

Man I'm so hyped for this year's Grammys!!! I think it's gonna be a battle between Kendrick Lamar & SZA's Luther in Record of the Year, and Bad Bunny's Debí Tirar Más Fotos in Album of the Year - both albums are straight fire 🎶💥. And huntr/x's Golden is looking like a strong contender for Song of the Year... that hook is stuck in my head 💭🎵. Olivia Dean could totally surprise us in Best New Artist, but we'll have to wait and see what the voters decide 🤞. I'm also rooting for Chappell Roan in Best Pop Solo Performance, her voice is insane! 🎤👏

I'm low-key hyped for the 2026 Grammys 🎉, but I think it's gonna be a really tough night for all the nominees. Like, don't get me wrong, everyone deserves recognition and praise, but sometimes the Grammys can be super biased towards the mainstream crowd. It's always cool to see some surprises come through though, like Bad Bunny's album being a dark horse in Album of the Year – that's some innovative stuff right there! 🤯

I also feel for Olivia Dean in Best New Artist, she's got a lot riding on her and the Grammys are a huge step up from anything she's done before. It's gonna be wild to see how it all plays out, but at the end of the day, I just want to celebrate the music, you know? 🎶

you know what i just thought of? have you ever been to one of those concerts where the performer has that one song with the most epic light show 🤩 it's literally like a mini-movie on stage... anyway, back to the grammys... do you think bad bunny's album should've been in the pop category instead of rock? i mean, debí tirar más fotos is definitely a pop-influenced album but some of the other tracks are kinda rockin' too 🤔
