I think it's really cool that there are so many talented artists competing for the top spots this year 
. But I do wish the Grammys would consider recognizing more albums and songs outside of their usual commercial charts. You know, some critics have mentioned that the Grammys tend to favor artists who have already achieved a lot of mainstream success... like, what about all those incredible underground artists out there just waiting to be discovered? 
I mean, I love Kendrick Lamar as much as the next person, but don't we want to give a platform to some fresh faces too?
And can we talk about how weird it is that the same artists are always competing in multiple categories? Like, Justin Bieber's album is also up for Best Pop Solo Performance
. I guess that just means there's so much great music out there to celebrate! But at the same time... wouldn't it be awesome if they created more specific categories to highlight the diversity of genres and styles?

! it's going to be a tough competition between Kendrick Lamar & SZA's Luther, Bad Bunny's Debí Tirar Más Fotos, and Tyler, the Creator's Chromakopia... all of these albums are fire 
and deserve that grammy award. i'm also loving the diversity in nominees - we gotta see some new faces win too 
like Olivia Dean, Katseye, and Lola Young, they're all bringing something fresh to the table. can't wait to see who'll take home the trophy
