Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold review: dust-resistant and more durable foldable phone

The Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold is a foldable smartphone that runs on Android 16 software, features a 48-megapixel main camera, and has a dust- and water-resistant design. It weighs around 228g and has a thickness of 14mm. The phone's battery life can last over 1,000 full charge cycles with at least 80% of its original capacity.

The phone is repairable by Google, third-party shops or self-repair with manuals and parts due to be available. It contains 29% recycled materials by weight including aluminium, cobalt, copper, glass, gold, plastic, rare-earth elements, tin and tungsten.

Pricing starts from Β£1,749 (€1,899/$1,799/A$2,699), which is more expensive than other foldable phones on the market. However, it offers a unique blend of features such as a phone and tablet in one, dust- and water-resistant design, Qi2 magnetic accessory and charging, great tablet screen, good performance, good cameras with 5x zoom, packed with AI including Magic Cue, Google AI Pro included for a year, seven years of software updates.

The pros of the Pixel 10 Pro Fold include its phone-and-tablet-in-one functionality, dust- and water-resistant design, Qi2 magnetic accessory and charging, great tablet screen, good performance, good cameras with 5x zoom, packed with AI including Magic Cue, Google AI Pro included for a year, seven years of software updates.

The cons include its extremely expensive price tag, more fragile and costlier to repair than a regular device, thick and heavy, cameras can't match regular Pixel 10 Pro, battery life could be better, fewer power-user features than rivals.

omg I'm so confused about this phone's price 🀯 Β£1,749 is crazy! I mean, the specs are nice and all - phone-and-tablet-in-one functionality, great camera, AI-powered features... but is it really worth that much? I think it's a bit steep for most people. And don't even get me started on the repairability πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ I'd love to be able to fix my own device if it breaks or gets damaged, but that comes at an extra cost too. On the bright side, 29% recycled materials is awesome! πŸ‘ But overall, I think this phone's pros are a bit overshadowed by its price and weight πŸ€―πŸ’”

Just dropped $1,749 on that foldable phone and now I'm worried it's just gonna break like every other expensive gadget πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ...and the repair cost is already kinda steep πŸ€‘...I mean, 29% recycled materials is cool and all πŸ’š but does anyone really care about the environment when they're shelling out thousands for a phone? πŸ˜’...also what's up with that Qi2 magnetic accessory and charging - just gonna be another thing that breaks down or gets lost 🀯...overall I'm not sure if it's worth the price tag, I mean, regular Pixel 10 Pro was already great, does this really need to be so fancy? πŸ€‘

I'm really hyped about the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold 🀩 but I gotta say, Β£1,749 is crazy expensive πŸ’Έ! I mean, who needs a tablet and phone in one? I guess it's cool that it's repairable tho πŸ› οΈ, at least we know that. But man, the cameras are just okay, like they didn't even upgrade from the regular Pixel 10 Pro πŸ“Έ. And battery life could be better, 1,000 charge cycles is decent but what about after that? πŸ’” I do love the AI features tho, Magic Cue and Google AI Pro included for a year, that's some next-level tech πŸ€–! But still, I don't know if it's worth it... maybe for those who wanna try out foldable tech?

omg I'm so hyped for this new foldable phone! 🀩 I mean, the idea of having a phone AND a tablet in one is just genius πŸ’‘ and the camera game on this thing looks πŸ”₯ especially with that 5x zoom! πŸ“Έ But Β£1,749? 😱 thats like, a lot of cash for me, even if it's made with recycled materials and has all those cool features... maybe for someone who needs all that power and flexibility πŸ’»

Ugh, I'm soooo tired of these new foldable phones coming out πŸ€―πŸ’Έ they're just so pricey! Β£1,749 is a lot to ask for... I mean, I know it's got some cool features like a phone and tablet in one, but I don't think it's worth the break the bank πŸ’ΈπŸ‘Ž I've had my eyes on this thing, but 7 years of software updates is just too long πŸ™„ I'm good with just having an update every 2-3 years... can't we all just chill? πŸ˜’ Anyway, I do wish Google would work on making these phones more affordable, 'cause I think they'd still be amazing πŸ’–

OMG, have you seen the specs of this new Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold? 🀯 I mean, it's like they took all the best parts from a tablet and phone and mashed them together into one device! πŸ’» The dust- and water-resistant design is so cool, and that 48-megapixel main camera sounds insane for a foldable phone. But for real though, Β£1,749? 😲 That's just crazy expensive. I mean, I get it's a premium product and all, but some of us are on a budget πŸ€‘. And don't even get me started on the repairability - I wish more companies would make this stuff easier to fix! πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ Still, if you're looking for a phone that can do it all, this might be worth considering. Just be prepared to shell out some serious cash πŸ’Έ.

omg yaaas the foldable tech is getting so advanced 🀩 i think the pixel 10 pro fold is a solid choice for those who want that phone and tablet combo but tbh Β£1749 is just too much $$$ πŸ’Έ u gotta consider it's more expensive than other foldables on the market. anyway, i do love how google is committed to making it repairable which is a win in my book πŸ‘ they also packed it with some amazing features like magic cue and google ai pro which is gonna be awesome for productivity. but, yeah, the price is a major con πŸ€• and also the thickness and weight might not be ideal for everyone πŸ’”

πŸ€” I'm telling ya, this phone is like a Trojan horse πŸšͺ... all flashy on the outside but there's gotta be some hidden agenda at play here. I mean, Β£1,749? That's straight-up crazy πŸ’Έ! Google knows we love our foldable phones so they're pricing it way high to get us hooked πŸ’”. And don't even get me started on the repairability 🀯... Google just likes to make it easy for them to sell more parts, you know? It's all about keeping that money flowing πŸ’ΈπŸ’°. But hey, if you wanna spend your life savings on a phone that's basically two devices in one πŸ“Š, be my guest!

πŸ€” The Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold is like the luxury yacht of smartphones - it's all about the exclusivity and uniqueness! I mean, who needs a phone that can transform into a tablet? πŸ“±πŸ’» It's like having two devices in one, but at what cost? πŸ’Έ Β£1,749 is a pretty penny to pay for a foldable phone, especially when other options are out there. But if you're all about the premium experience and don't mind paying top dollar, then this might be the phone for you! πŸ€‘ The camera game is strong with that 5x zoom, and the AI features are on point... but I'm not sure if it's worth the hassle of repairing or replacing parts. Maybe Google can make some changes to the price point before it hits the market? πŸ’°

omg you guys i just got my hands on the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold and i gotta say its SO worth the $$$ πŸ€‘ but like idk if ill ever get used to how thick it is 14mm is a lil too much lol 🀣 and yeah the price is kinda steep Β£1,749 is alot to ask from anyone πŸ˜… but seriously its so cool having a phone that can be both a phone and a tablet all in one πŸ“±πŸ–ΌοΈ i mean the camera tho 5x zoom is insane πŸ’₯ and the ai features are crazy powerful magic cue is like my new best friend πŸ‘
