Guitar Hero at 20 – how a plastic axe bridged the gap between rock generations

Guitar Hero was such a big deal back in the day 🤟🎸, especially when it came out! I remember playing it at school with my friends and we would all try to beat each other's high scores... my mom even got into it too lol 😂. The game made us all wanna rock out like our fave bands, like Aerosmith or Van Halen 🤘. And yeah, some bands saw a huge increase in sales because of the game, that's crazy! 💸

It's still weird to think about how much Guitar Hero changed the music scene back then... but I'm glad it inspired so many people to be creative and play music 🎶. And who knows? maybe we'll see a new rhythm game come out soon and bring back all the nostalgia 😄. Anyway, it's amazing that even 20 years later, people are still passionate about Guitar Hero like ever! 👍
 
I'm still hyped about the original Guitar Hero games 🤟! I mean, 20 years have passed since its release and it's crazy to think that it changed the music industry so much. I remember playing as a kid with my friends and trying to master those tricky solos... it was such a rush 😆. The fact that bands like Aerosmith and Metallica got more money from their music sales than any of their albums did is insane 💸. And let's not forget about the iconic songs - who can forget "Through the Fire and Flames" by DragonForce? 🤘 That song alone gives me goosebumps every time I listen to it 🎸. I'm so excited to hear that a new studio is working on a rhythm-based game... could this be another Guitar Hero revival? 🤔 Only time will tell, but for now, let's just keep rocking out and enjoying the classics 💥
 
omg 20 yrs is crazy lol, i remember playing guitar hero with my mates back in high school, it was such a rush feeling like a real rock star 🤟🎸, and yeah i can see how it'd tap into that desire to make music on stage, especially with bands like aerosmith and metallica getting involved. the impact on record sales was insane too, 40% is wild! 🚀 i'm glad to see clone hero and fortnite festival keeping the scene alive tho, and a new game from redoctane games would be sick! 😎
 
20 years old 🤯 and still we're rocking out 🤘 to those plastic axes? Like, who needs a real guitar when you can just mangle some power chords with a controller? The nostalgia is strong, but I mean, have you seen the fingers on those streamers? CarnyJared's attempt at DragonForce's Through the Fire and Flames was insane 🤯... not sure if I'd want to play that on a real guitar though 😂. Anyways, it's cool that bands are still making bank from Guitar Hero, like Aerosmith did with their spin-off title 🤑. Maybe we'll see another game that captures the rockstar vibe again? 🔥 Wouldn't mind giving it another shot, especially if they throw in some new music to jam out to 🎸.
 
OMG u no how epic it was 2 c people growin up playn guitar hero!!! 🤟‍♀️💥 like, it brought ppl together & made them wanna be rockstars! 😂 i mean who didnt wanna shred like axel rose or stevie nicks? 🎸👑 the impact on bands was huge, especially cheap trick & lynyrd skynyrd - it's crazy 2 think they saw a 40% increase in sales 🤑

i'm so down 4 clone hero & fortnite festival keepin the spirit alive 🎮💥 & i'm hyped 2 see what redoctane games has in store 4 us next! 🤔 let's keep the rockin vibes goin!!! 🤟‍♂️👊
