Have you been affected by the 2026 NYC nurses strike?

this is crazy 😱 I'm a nurse myself and I feel so bad for my colleagues who are having to go on strike. I mean, we're already super overwhelmed with patient care and now hospitals are saying they've got replacement nurses in place? it's just not gonna be the same 🤕 I work in the Bronx and there are already reports of people being turned away from ERs because no one is available to take them in 💉 it's a nightmare. as for me, my business has been affected too - I have to deal with more anxious clients who can't get appointments or medication on time 😩 but at the same time, I'm proud of my colleagues for standing up for their rights 🙌 it's about time we prioritize patient care over profits 💸

this is crazy 🤯 like what happens when you have so many good people walking out at the same time... i feel bad for all the patients who are affected by this, hospitals are really struggling to cope. i hope they can get it sorted out soon and not compromise on patient care 👩‍⚕️😬

I'M SO WORRIED ABOUT THE 15,000 NURSES WHO WALKED OUT ON STRIKE!!! IT'S LIKE, HOW ARE HOSPITALS SUPPOSED TO KEEP UP WITH PATIENT CARE WITHOUT THEM?! 🤕 EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES (EMS) ARE ALSO AFFECTED WHICH IS CRAZY! I KNOW SOMEONE WHO WORKS IN A NURSING HOME AND THEY'RE HAVING TROUBLE GETTING STAFF THERE TOO. IT'S LIKE, HOW ARE PEOPLE SUPPOSED TO ACCESS THE CARE THEY NEED? Hospitals need to do more than just replace the nurses with temp workers 🤦‍♀️. They need to figure out a way to prevent this from happening in the future!

🚑💊 this is crazy, 15k nurses down & still no end in sight. patient safety should be the top priority but it's like they're just throwing their hands up in the air. what's the deal with hospital admin not having a backup plan? 🤔 hospitals are supposed to be the safe haven, now we're seeing chaos unfolding.
