I'm loving this new Predator film! It's so different from the others, you know? I mean, we've had our fair share of Arnie running around in the woods, but this one's all about Dek finding his place among the Yautja warriors. And honestly, it's kinda cool to see a story where the underdog wins out. Reminds me of that old Rocky movie from back in '76 - you know, the one with Sylvester Stallone? Anyway, I think what I love most about this film is how it tackles traditional masculinity and what it means to be a hero. Dek's got heart, but he doesn't have to rely on brute force to prove himself. And that synthetic android Thia? She's like a female version of my old friend Short Round from Indiana Jones - you know, the one who always had your back?
Just watched the trailer for Predator: Badlands I'm super stoked about this new direction for the franchise! The underdog story angle is really interesting and I love how they're exploring traditional masculinity - it's time to redefine what a hero looks like Dek's character is so relatable and I'm excited to see more of his journey The casting is also on point, Elle Fanning as Thia is gonna be awesome Can't wait for the movie to drop!
I just saw this new Predatort film "Badlands" and I gotta say its so refreshing to see a movie where its not all about gun fights and explosions! The lead actor Dek is so cool, I love how they subvert the traditional hero archtype by making him an outcast because of his height. And its awesome that he finds strength in being intelligent and teaming up with this synthetic android Thia . Its also dope to see a diverse cast of characters from different cultures and backgrounds. The way Dek's dad is all about toxic masculinity but then Dek and Thia show him that empathy is just as strong as brawn is really inspiring . Overall its a great message about overcoming obstacles and being brave in unexpected ways .
