I'm not buying all this fuss about Inter Miami's new signings

. Don't get me wrong, they've definitely got some talent now, but let's not forget that Lionel Messi is basically a once-in-a-generation superstar

. I mean, anyone can sign a bunch of decent players, but it takes a special player like Messi to make a team go from good to great.
And have you seen their roster construction process? It sounds like they're playing by their own rules

. I'm not sure if that's sustainable in the long run. What happens when everyone wants a piece of that magic, but Inter Miami can't keep up with the cost? We'll see.
I also think the whole "cash transfers" thing is just a fancy way of saying teams are getting rich off player movement

. It's not like it's fair to the other teams who have to deal with the consequences. And what about the players themselves? Do they really want to be part of this high-risk, high-reward game where their value can fluctuate wildly?
Inter Miami might be having a great run right now, but let's not get ahead of ourselves

. There's bound to be some bumps along the way.
