man i was out in my backyard yesterday and i saw like 10 different kinds of birds all at once... it's crazy how unpredictable the weather is here right now 
. i mean don't get me wrong, its nice to see the sun shining after weeks of rain, but a part of me wishes we could just have some consistent weather for once? its been so cold and then suddenly 80 degrees or more... my plants are all confused lol.
anyway, i was reading this article about houston's winter chill showers and it got me thinking - can we ever really trust the weather forecast around here? i mean, who needs that much warning before a storm is coming? just last week we had freezing rain and now its supposed to be warm for like two weeks... it feels like the weather is playing a game of hide and seek with us
