Israel kills two in northern Gaza as Rafah crossing sees little movement

"Israel's Unrelenting Assault on Gaza Continues Despite Ceasefire"

Two Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces in northern Gaza, sparking outrage as Israel presses its genocidal war, violating daily the "ceasefire" it has entered into since October 10.

The bodies of those killed in Jabalia and Beit Lahiya were transported to al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza City. The attacks come amid multiple clashes across the coastal enclave, with Israeli forces continuing to traumatisize Palestinians despite a fragile ceasefire.

In Khan Younis, southern Gaza's capital, Israel struck a Palestinian home, claiming it was in response to its soldiers being shot near the "yellow line". However, witnesses disputed this account, saying the house was located opposite a school sheltering displaced people. The attack left residents shaken, with one describing the scene as "traumatizing".

The US-brokered ceasefire deal has allowed for limited movement at the Rafah crossing, but Israeli authorities have kept it shut for most of the war and only partially reopened on Monday, allowing a mere trickle of people to travel.

Only a few dozen people have been allowed to enter and leave Gaza since the ceasefire came into effect, making it difficult for those stranded outside to return. The Red Crescent has warned that there are currently no plans for any movement at the crossing on Friday.

Meanwhile, the pace of medical evacuations has been slower than promised, with only about 30 patients transferred so far this week. Gaza's healthcare system has been devastated by Israel's genocidal war, with 22 hospitals put out of service and 1,700 medical workers killed, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry.

The situation on the ground remains dire, with Palestinians facing harassment and intimidation at the crossing, and limited access to basic necessities like food, water, and medical care. As Israel continues to escalate its assault on Gaza, international pressure is mounting to end the violence and allow for a safe and dignified return of Palestinian refugees.

come on dont be too harsh on israel theyve got their reasons 4 attacking gaza after all whats the big deal bout israels desire 2 protect itself from rockets? i mean we cant blame em fer wantin 2 keep themselves safe either...gazas been gettin a lil too comfy with them hamas folks & it looks like israel's just tryna take back control...i get that its chaotic, but lets not jump 2 conclusions here...both sides have got their reasons & imma stick 2 what i think : israel's doin whats best fer itself & gaza needs 2 calm down n sort its own stuff out

Ugh, sounds like the usual πŸ™„. Another "ceasefire" that's just a myth perpetuated by people who don't actually care about what happens in Gaza πŸ˜’. I mean, 2 dead already? 🀯 How's that for "fragile"? Israel's always finding ways to find excuses to keep the violence going πŸ’”. And don't even get me started on the US-brokered deal... like that's ever worked out well before πŸ™„. It's just a game of cat and mouse, with Palestinians being the ones stuck in the middle 🐈. The Red Crescent warning about no plans for movement at the crossing? 🚫 Yeah, because that's exactly what we need more of – bureaucratic red tape holding people back from getting help when they need it most πŸ’”. And 30 patients transferred this week? πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ Like, woah, progress! Not πŸ™„.

man it's just heartbreaking seeing this ongoing bloodshed in Gaza πŸ™... it makes you wonder what's driving these actions from both sides, is it fear? desperation? or just a never-ending cycle of retaliation & revenge? the US-brokered ceasefire deal seems like a half-measure at best, allowing for minimal movement but still keeping the Rafah crossing shut. how many more lives have to be lost before we can even think about finding a sustainable solution? and what's the real cost of 'winning' in this war, are we just trading one set of innocent civilians for another? it's like we're stuck in some sort of never-ending nightmare...

πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ Come on guys, it's not that hard to fact-check! The US didn't exactly "broker" this ceasefire deal - it was more like they kinda sorta helped Israel come up with the terms. And let's get real, the whole thing feels super staged. I mean, 30 patients transferred in a whole week? That's like, basic first aid, bro. πŸ˜’

And can we please stop using the term "genocidal war"? It's just not that accurate. Israel has been doing some shady stuff for sure, but let's not jump to conclusions. πŸ€” The situation is dire, don't get me wrong, but we need to keep things in perspective.

By the way, have you seen those numbers about 22 hospitals being put out of service? That's, like, a whole medical system gone. How are people even supposed to access healthcare right now? πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ It's time for some real action, not just empty rhetoric. πŸ’¬

πŸ€• This is getting out of control! 😱 How can they just keep saying ceasefire when they're still killing people left and right? 🀬 It's like they're not even trying to stop the bloodshed anymore. The fact that only a few dozen people have been allowed to enter and leave Gaza since the ceasefire started is insane... it's like they want to lock everyone in! πŸ’” And what about all those hospitals they put out of service? πŸš‘ 22 of them?! That's just horrific. We need to do something, but what can we do when it feels like no one is listening? 😩

OMG this is soooo not okay 🀯😑 Israel's actions are literally making life in Gaza a living hell πŸ’” Their assault is just brutal and they're still pushing their limits despite that "ceasefire" πŸ™„ It's like, what's the point of even calling it a ceasefire if they're gonna keep violating it? πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ The fact that only a few dozen people can enter & leave Gaza since the ceasefire started is just insane! 🚫 And don't even get me started on the Red Crescent saying there are no plans for any movement at the Rafah crossing on Friday... like, when will this ever end?! 🀯 Gaza's healthcare system is basically non-existent right now and 1,700 med workers were killed?! πŸ’€ It's heartbreaking to think about all these ppl suffering 🌎 Can't we just talk about a peaceful resolution to this already?! πŸ™

πŸ™ I'm getting really worried about what's happening in Gaza right now... it's not looking good πŸŒͺ️. Two more Palestinians lost their lives already this week πŸ€•, and it's just heartbreaking. The idea of a ceasefire seems to be falling apart πŸ’”, with Israel claiming one thing but witnesses saying the opposite πŸ™„.

I don't get why the US-brokered deal can't hold up for once? πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ We're seeing limited movement at the Rafah crossing and it's like a trickle of people are trying to escape 🌊. The pace of medical evacuations is also super slow, which means those in need aren't getting the help they deserve πŸ’‰.

Gaza's healthcare system is basically destroyed πŸ‘€, with 22 hospitals shut down and 1,700 medics killed 😱. It's just devastating to think about all the lives being lost and suffering πŸ€•. Can we please, for the love of humanity, try to find a way to end this violence? πŸ’–

This war in Gaza is getting out of hand lol what's next? 🀯 I'm all for peace but these ceasefires are like, broken every 5 minutes... Israel needs to chill out already! 😑 The fact that they're still traumatising Palestinians just because some soldiers got shot is just wrong. We need to see real change here, like an actual plan to rebuild Gaza's healthcare system and infrastructure. πŸ’Έ I'm also really worried about those people stuck outside the Rafah crossing... it's not right that only a few dozen are allowed in and out at a time πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

i cant believe israel keep pushin us around... they think ceasefire is just a joke. i mean whats the point of havin a ceasefire if ur gonna keep shuttin the border crossings? its like they dont care about human life at all πŸ€•. and yall know what the worst part is? international community just standin there watchin, not doin squat about it πŸ˜’. we need to see some real action from our leaders, not just empty promises. whats goin on in israel, is that how they treat their own citizens? its all so unfair πŸ™„

man this is so messed up... Israel's just keeping people trapped in gaza with no way out & their ceasefire deal is basically useless πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ they're still traumatising ppl & attacking homes, it's like they don't even care about the daily suffering anymore πŸ’” the US brokered deal should be doing more to help, not just keeping it open for a trickle of people to come in & out... and what's with all these medical evacuations being delayed? πŸš‘ 30 patients transferred this week is basically nothing when ppl need urgent help ASAP πŸ’• gaza's healthcare system is almost non-existent now, 22 hospitals closed & 1700 med workers killed... it's just heartbreaking 🀯

man this situation in gaza is so heartbreaking πŸ€• it's been months since the ceasefire was supposed to be enforced but still israel's not showing any signs of slowing down the attacks what's worse is that those who are already stuck outside gaza can't even get out or in due to the limited movement at the rafah crossing 🚫 it's like israel's just playing with people's lives and no one's doing anything about it 😑

i'm so tired of seeing these innocent civilians getting hurt and killed by israel's military actions it's not right that their healthcare system has been devastated to this point 22 hospitals out of service and 1700 medical workers killed πŸ€• that's just devastating

i think the international community needs to take a closer look at what's going on in gaza and do something about it we can't just sit back and watch as innocent people are suffering like this πŸ’”

Ugh, this is getting out of hand 🀯. I mean, come on, two more Palestinians killed by Israeli forces... what's the point of even having a ceasefire? It's just gonna get broken again anyway. And can we talk about how laughable it is that Israel says they were shot near the "yellow line" when basically anyone who's been in Gaza for more than 5 minutes knows that's not true πŸ™„. The US-brokered deal was supposed to bring some peace, but all it's brought us is a trickle of people being allowed to leave or enter through the Rafah crossing... like, what even is the point of that? It's just a tiny window for a few dozen people to escape while everyone else is still stuck here with no access to basic necessities. And don't even get me started on the state of Gaza's healthcare system - it's basically non-existent now πŸ€•. 22 hospitals out of commission and 1,700 medical workers killed... how can you just keep doing this, Israel? How can you expect anyone to take you seriously when you're just continuing to escalate the violence?

🚨😱 another day another death in Gaza πŸ€• 2 ppl killed just today already this month over 100 Palestinians lost their lives since Oct 10... what's the point of ceasefire if u can't even leave ur home? πŸ πŸ’” & btw, US brokered deal is more like a "paper peace" πŸ˜’ limited movement at Rafah crossing, only a few dozen ppl allowed to enter/leave since Oct 10 that's not exactly a trickle of hope... πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ medical evacuations are slow too, only 30 patients transferred so far this week, still 1,700 med workers killed & hospitals shut down. πŸš‘πŸ’” what's happening in Gaza is just heartbreaking 😭

πŸŒͺ️ It's like, Israel's been going all out in Gaza since that ceasefire deal went into effect... I mean what's the point of having a "ceasefire" if you're just gonna keep bombing and killing people? 🀯 And don't even get me started on how slowly things are moving at the Rafah crossing - it's like, hello, we have people stuck outside with nowhere to go! 😩

And can we talk about the fact that only 30 patients have been transferred so far this week? That's not a ceasefire deal, that's just a PR stunt. Gaza's healthcare system is basically non-existent at this point... I mean 22 hospitals are out of service and over 1,700 medical workers killed? πŸ€• How can you even begin to rebuild when the foundation of your healthcare system has been destroyed?

I'm not saying Israel doesn't have a right to defend itself or whatever, but come on... this is just so inhumane. The international community needs to step up and make some real demands for a safe and dignified return of Palestinian refugees. We can't just sit back and watch as people suffer like this. πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

πŸ€” this whole ceasefire thing feels like a setup to me... they're just letting them bleed out slowly so everyone's too tired to care about it anymore. and what's up with Israel keeping that crossing shut? seems like they want to keep the Palestinians trapped in a cage 🚫 and the US is just sitting back, doing nothing about it... like they have some secret plan πŸ€‘. and have you seen those hospital numbers? 22 hospitals out of commission?!? how are they supposed to recover from this if there's no medical help? πŸ€•

πŸ€” I'm getting really worried about this situation in Gaza... The ceasefire deal just doesn't seem like it's being respected by Israel at all. I mean, how many times can you attack someone and then claim they were shot first? It's just not adding up. And what's with the Rafah crossing being shut down for most of the war? That's not a solution to anything, that's just more suffering for people who are already living in one of the worst places on earth.

And have you seen the conditions in those hospitals? 22 out of 30?! It's unacceptable. And all this for what? A "genocidal war" as they're calling it... I don't even know how to process that term, but it sounds really bad. We need to be talking about real solutions here, not just blaming one side or the other.

Can we please get some more international pressure on Israel to stop this violence and start making things better for the people of Gaza? It's just... it feels like they're not even trying to make a ceasefire work...

this situation is like a broken mirror - it shows us both sides of our own reflection 🀯. we see the Israeli forces pushing their limits, using civilians as human shields, and causing immense suffering to innocent people. but at the same time, we see the US and other international powers backing Israel's actions, citing national security concerns. meanwhile, in Gaza, Palestinians are struggling to survive, with basic necessities like food, water, and medical care being taken away from them πŸ’”. it's like a never-ending cycle of violence and suffering - but what can we do to break this cycle? perhaps it's time for us to question our own biases and assumptions, and to listen to the voices of those who are affected by this conflict πŸ—£οΈ.

πŸ˜” I'm so sorry it's taken me ages to comment on this... I feel like I've been living under a rock πŸ›‚οΈ. The situation in Gaza is just heartbreaking, and it's infuriating that the ceasefire isn't being respected. I mean, can you even imagine having your home attacked while your kids are inside? 😭 It's not just about the physical damage, but also the trauma and fear that comes with living under constant bombardment.

I think what really gets me is that there are people still trapped outside Gaza trying to get in or out πŸšΆβ€β™‚οΈ. It's like Israel is playing a cruel game of cat and mouse with human lives. And don't even get me started on the medical evacuations – 30 patients transferred this week? That's not exactly what I'd call "limited movement" πŸ’”.

I'm all for international pressure to end the violence, but we need more than just words 🀝. We need concrete actions and a commitment to safety and human rights. Let's hope that somehow, someway, this situation improves soon πŸ’•.

the ceasefire in gaza feels like a joke, it's been going on since october 10 but it seems like israel's still not taking it seriously. two more palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces, it's just so heartbreaking. the thing that's really getting me is how limited movement at the rafah crossing is, only a few dozen people allowed to enter and leave since the ceasefire started? it's like they're not even trying to help the ppl stuck outside. and the medical situation in gaza is just awful, 22 hospitals put out of service and 1700 med workers killed... πŸ€•πŸ’”
