Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey listed probable for Sixers-Pacers on Friday

Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey are both listed as probable for the Sixers' game against the Pacers on Friday, a welcome boost to Philadelphia's injury-ridden roster.

Embiid has been dealing with a left knee injury that has hindered his performance in recent games, including their loss to the Lakers last Sunday. Despite this setback, Embiid hopes to make his next breakthrough in his rehabilitation plan by playing consecutive games within a short span. However, it remains to be seen whether he will be able to do so without suffering any setbacks.

Maxey has led the team in minutes played and is the only member of the Sixers to have appeared in every game this season. He has been on the injury report twice before but managed to stay healthy.

On the other hand, Kelly Oubre Jr. and Trendon Watford are still out of action due to left knee sprains. Oubre's re-evaluation date was set for Thursday, while Watford is scheduled to have another assessment on Wednesday. Both players were unable to participate in live practice sessions with coach Nick Nurse stating that they cannot currently engage in on-court activity.

Hunter Sallis, the rookie two-way guard, is also out due to a right shoulder sprain.

omg i'm so hyped about joel embiid and tyrese maxey getting back on the court 🤩🏀 it's been super tough for the sixers with all these injuries but having these two back will definitely boost our chances of winning 😅 anyway, i feel bad for kelly oubre jr. he's been out for like 2 games already and i hope he recovers soon 💔 fingers crossed for him to be back on the court soon too 🤞

so glad to hear that joel embiid and tyrese maxey are back in the mix 🙌💪 but i'm still a bit skeptical about these guys making it through consecutive games without any issues...embiid's been dealing with that left knee injury for ages and maxey's already had two instances of being on the injury report 🤔 what's to say this time won't be another false alarm? also, kelly oubre jr. is still out and that's a big concern since he was supposed to be one of our top guys this season 🤷‍♂️

🤔 These guys gotta be super careful with those knees tho 💪. It's one thing to get back from an injury but another thing entirely to keep it that way 🤕. Can't have Embiid and Maxey taking a step forward only to take two steps back again 😬.

OMG 🤯, I'm so stoked to see Embiid and Maxey back in the lineup! 💪 It's been super frustrating watching our team struggle with all these injuries 😩. And poor Kelly Oubre Jr.! Hopefully he'll be back on the court soon, but fingers crossed it won't be another setback for him 🤞.

So many players are out right now, I'm actually starting to think we should just start a Sixers injury recovery thread 🤷‍♂️. Like, who's next? 🤔 And can we get an update on Hunter Sallis' shoulder? How long is he gonna be out? 🤕

so finally some good news for the Sixers... Embiid's knee injury thingy has been a rollercoaster all season 🤯. I mean, who needs consistency when you can have occasional highlight reels, right?

But seriously, it's great to hear that Tyrese Maxey is looking healthy and ready to go! He's like the ultimate glue guy for the team, always playing through injuries like they're nothing.

Kelly Oubre Jr.'s out again 🙄... yeah, we all know he's not exactly the most durable player on the court... And Hunter Sallis' shoulder injury is just another thing for him to deal with 😒. Fingers crossed he recovers soon!

I'm so glad to hear that Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey are both looking good for Friday's game! 🤞 It really does give the Sixers a much-needed boost with all the injuries they've been dealing with lately. I mean, it's tough when you're playing with a bunch of hurt players, right? 💔

I'm really hoping Embiid can make some progress in his rehab and get back on the court soon. He's such an important player for the team, and we all love watching him dominate in his own special way! 🤩 Maxey has been doing a great job stepping up and leading the team, though, so fingers crossed that he keeps it going.

On the other hand, it's a bummer to hear about Kelly Oubre Jr. and Trendon Watford still out with their knee injuries. Hopefully they can get back on track soon, but for now, it seems like we're not seeing them in live practice sessions anytime soon 😔. And poor Hunter Sallis... I feel bad for him - a shoulder sprain is no joke! 🤕

think it's good news for the Sixers that Embiid and Maxey are listed as probable for Friday's game 🤞. been feeling kinda meh about the team lately with all these injuries... Embiid's comeback is always exciting, hope he can stay healthy this time around 💪. curious to see how coach Nurse will manage the minutes for everyone though, don't want anyone else getting hurt 🤕.
