Wolverhampton Wanderers (Wolves) have rejected a £33 million bid from Leeds United for Norway striker Jorgen Strand Larsen.
Larsen, 25, has struggled to impress in the Premier League this season and is expected to leave Molineux due to his poor form and deteriorating relationship with fans. Wolves are looking to reshape their squad ahead of an expected relegation.
The offer from Leeds was worth £33m, including a further £6m in add-ons. However, sources have revealed that the bid is below Wolves' asking price of around £40m for Larsen.
Newcastle United had previously failed with bids of £50m and £55m for Larsen before withdrawing their offers last month. Nottingham Forest, West Ham United, and Crystal Palace are reportedly interested in signing Larsen this month.
Wolves also have defender Emmanuel Agbadou on the market, with Besiktas willing to spend £13m on his services, although Wolves want £17m for him. Midfielder Joao Gomes is also attracting interest from Napoli and Atletico Madrid but could still stay at Molineux until the end of the season.

. Relegation's looking tough for them, and selling some of their big-name players might just give 'em the push they need. As for me, £40m is still a bit steep for Larsen, I think he's got potential but hasn't quite lived up to it yet 
. Still, Leeds seem like a good team to send him to, and maybe he'll get his form back 
. Wolves' squad needs some shaking up, so hopefully they can get some decent deals in 
. The guy's just not impressing in the Premier League this season, right? And now Wolves are gonna stick with him 'cause they gotta make a profit from the sale or something? It seems like a bad move to me...

jorgen strand larsen just doesnt seem to be fitting in @ Wolves 
he's got some great skills but that chemistry with fans seems like it was a major thing for him. plus, £33m is defo more than enough for a player who's not exactly setting the premier league on fire 
i mean, leeds has a good squad now so they can afford to lose larsen or try someone else out 
they wanted £33m for larsen? that's like, peanuts compared to what newcastle offered him! i mean dont get me wrong larsens form has been rubbish this season but £40m is a steep price tag 
im not surprised though wolves need to bring in some fresh blood if they wanna avoid relegation... but its sad for larsen he just cant catch a break 
wolves need to get at least £17m for him, thats the bare minimum 
but i guess they're trying to rebuild or whatever. i'm still rooting for wolves tho, we can turn it around
