Man, it's like how things come full circle, ya know? I remember when the Apple Card first dropped back in 2019, Goldman Sachs was all in on that deal. Now, they're bailing and JPMorgan Chase is stepping up to take over. It's a big move for both parties, especially with all the outstanding balances that'll be transferred to JPMorgan Chase... I mean, $20 billion is no joke! It's gonna be interesting to see how this plays out, but at least the Apple Card will still be around, so customers don't have to worry too much. Two years is a bit of a wait, but I guess that's just part of the transition process... Fingers crossed it all goes smoothly!
Just thinkin', if JPMorgan Chase takes over the Apple Card, does that mean we'll be seein' more traditional banking features or what? They're already doin' some big changes, like offloadin' $20 billion in balances... Not sure how that's gonna play out for customers. Guess only time will tell .
I gotta say, this news has me feeling kinda hopeful about innovation & progress ! I mean, think about it, a big player like Apple switching things up and bringing in a new issuer like JPMorgan Chase - that's some serious disruption happening ! It's not just about the financials either, it's about how this change might push both companies to improve their services & make them better for customers . And hey, it's also awesome that Mastercard is sticking around as the payment network - that's some solid partnership building . Can't wait to see what comes next!
OMG u guys ! so Apple is ditching Goldman Sachs for JPMorgan Chase as the new issuer of their apple card i mean i know GS was like a year or so behind on this deal but still it's kinda shady that they're offloading 20 billion in outstanding balances tho that's some serious cash i guess its good for JPMorgan Chase tho they'll get to make some bank and mastercard is still gonna be the payment network lol can't wait to see how this all plays out
I'm low-key surprised about this announcement . I've had my Apple Card for a bit and it's been pretty solid so far. The fact that Goldman Sachs is stepping down and JPMorgan Chase is taking over means I'll probably have to deal with some changes in the near future . It's not all bad though, since Mastercard will still be handling transactions, so my daily spend should stay the same . I'm a bit curious about what this shift will mean for Apple's overall strategy and customer experience, but I guess only time (and the FAQs) will tell .
