Judge gives Musk bad news, says Trump hasn't intervened to block SEC lawsuit

I'm not buying into Elon Musk's "politically motivated" BS ๐Ÿ™„. He thinks he's above the law just because his Twitter takeover was a major news event? Newsflash: being a billionaire with a huge online presence doesn't exempt you from following the rules. The fact that Trump hasn't intervened on his behalf yet is either a coincidence or a sign that Musk's team has been caught red-handed ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ.

It's also weird to hear Musk whining about free speech rights when he's been tweeting about everything under the sun, including sensitive topics like Twitter's own moderation policies. If he can't handle being scrutinized by regulators, maybe he should focus on his actual business skills instead of grandstanding ๐Ÿค‘.

The SEC is doing its job and holding Musk accountable for his actions. Whether or not Trump intervenes will make little difference in the end. The fact remains that Musk failed to disclose key info and took advantage of his shareholders โ€“ period ๐Ÿ’ธ.

๐Ÿคž I'm not surprised at all about the judge's decision ๐Ÿ™…โ€โ™‚๏ธ. I think it shows that the courts are on top of things when it comes to protecting investors and ensuring fair markets ๐Ÿ’ธ. Musk's whole argument about being "singled out" just seems like a weak attempt to deflect from his own mistakes ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ. And let's be real, if Trump was really looking out for Musk, he'd have intervened by now ๐Ÿ•ฐ๏ธ. But it looks like the judge is saying that even with Trump at the helm, there are still rules to follow and consequences to face ๐Ÿ˜ฌ. I'm all for free speech, but not when it comes at the expense of investors' rights ๐Ÿ’ช. Maybe this is a wake-up call for Musk to be more transparent in his dealings ๐Ÿ“š?

๐Ÿค” so if trump is a special gov employee at the sec but hasn't intervened on musk's case... how come he's got the power to block enforcement actions? ๐Ÿค‘ seems fishy to me that judge sooknanan accepted this as fact without more info. sources pls?! ๐Ÿ˜

This case just gets more interesting ๐Ÿ˜. So basically Judge Sooknanan is saying that Elon Musk can't use the whole "I'm being targeted unfairly" card because he hasn't actually shown that's happening ๐Ÿ™„. And Trump's presence at the SEC isn't going to magically get him off the hook either ๐Ÿ‘Ž. The judge is being pretty clear-headed about this, saying that Musk needs to prove his claims and that he hasn't done a good job of doing so. It's interesting that she shot down his argument about free speech rights too - it's not like he didn't know what was required of him when he bought those shares ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ. Now we just have to wait and see how this all plays out in the end ๐Ÿค‘.

I'm not surprised by the judge's ruling ๐Ÿค”. I mean, it just makes sense that if you're making a big change to a company like Twitter, you gotta be transparent about what's going on. It's basic business sense, right? ๐Ÿ’ธ And let's be real, Musk was already in hot water before he even bought the place. So yeah, I think he got what was coming to him ๐Ÿ‘.

But you know, it just goes to show that when you're a big shot CEO like Musk, everyone's gonna be watching your every move ๐Ÿ•ต๏ธโ€โ™‚๏ธ. And if you're not willing to play by the rules, well... that's just the way it is ๐Ÿ˜Š. I'm curious to see how this all plays out now that Trump's at the helm of the SEC ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ. Guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens next โณ๏ธ.
