Judge rules US Justice Department filed a lawsuit over Georgia voter data in the wrong city

I'm so frustrated about this whole thing 🤯! I mean, can't we just respect each other's boundaries? It seems like the US Justice Department is trying to collect way too much info from states and it's just not right. I get that election security is important, but do we really need all this personal data? 🤔

And what's with the politics? 😒 It's getting so messy. Brad Raffensperger's stance on this is a big deal for his campaign and now it's like a test case for Republicans in Georgia. I just wish they could focus on the bigger picture – keeping our elections safe and secure without invading people's privacy 🙏.

I'm sure there are better ways to address voting rights and security issues than by suing states for their voter data. It's time for us to have a more nuanced conversation about this stuff 💬.

🤔 I'm kinda surprised they let him refile it in Atlanta instead of a different city... but imo, this whole thing is a big mess 🚮. Like, what's the end goal here? Is it really about election security or just trying to control how states run their elections? 🤷‍♂️ I mean, if they're that concerned about security, shouldn't they be focusing on federal-level measures instead of targeting individual state governments? 🤔

🤔 I'm not buying it that they sued in the wrong city 📍 just because Judge Royal said so... wasn't this lawsuit part of some larger effort to collect voter data from 25 states? Why did it have to be dismissed now, especially when Raffensperger's stance on the issue is causing a stir in his gubernatorial campaign? 🤝 I need to see more about the federal law that supposedly requires states to provide voter lists and info... what's the source of this claim?

🤔 This is wild... So US Justice Department files a lawsuit in Georgia for voter data but ends up getting dismissed because they filed it in the wrong city? Like what even is that? 😂 And how do you mess up something like that? The fact that they're still going after 24 other states and DC with this same argument just makes me think there's some kinda bigger fish at play here... 🐟 Is there something we're not being told? Need to see the original complaint and all the details behind this lawsuit before I can even begin to form an opinion on it. 💡

Ugh, can you even believe this?! 🤯 A judge is basically saying that the US Justice Department can't just waltz in here and demand all our personal info from us without so much as a by-your-leave 😒. I mean, what's next? Them asking for our medical records or something?! 🚑

And what really gets my goat is that they're basically trying to intimidate these state officials into giving up their power. Like, newsflash: just because you're the Justice Department doesn't mean you get to dictate how states run their elections! 💁‍♀️ It's like they think we're some kind of automatons who can be controlled with a few stern letters.

And don't even get me started on Raffensperger being roasted by all these Republicans for standing up for his state's rights. I mean, if that's how they're going to treat him, then I'm all for it! He's basically saying that he'll fight for what he believes in, even if it means going against the federal government. That takes guts, dude!

And can we talk about how this whole thing just highlights the bigger issue of states vs. the feds? Like, who gets to decide on these things?! It seems like the Justice Department is trying to assert its authority over everything, and I'm not having it! 🚫

🤯 This is getting crazy! I mean, who asks for voter info like that? 🤷‍♂️ Like, what do they need it for? Are they gonna start tracking us down or something? 😱 And the fact that they sued in the wrong city... what a joke! 🤡 I don't get why the Justice Department is being so pushy about this. Can't we just have some peace and quiet when we're voting? 😩
