Kentucky woman receives package of human ‘arms and fingers’ instead of medicine delivery

Woman Receives Package with Human Body Parts Instead of Medicine Delivery

A shocking incident occurred in Kentucky when a woman opened her package to find human arms and fingers on ice instead of her expected medicine delivery. The gruesome surprise prompted her to call 911, leading to an unexpected chain of events.

The woman reported that she was expecting urgent medication flown in from Nashville airport-like facility but received two boxes containing severed human body parts for transplant purposes instead. "We opened one box and it turned out to be human body parts for transplant," she said during the 911 call obtained by local media outlet WSMV.

Desperate not to be in possession of unknown body parts, the woman called emergency responders who then contacted Christian County coroner Scott Daniel to retrieve the body limbs. The coroner stated that the package originated from Nashville and was intended to be delivered to a school or hospital for surgical training purposes, utilizing cadavers donated by individuals.

Fortunately, the woman eventually received her time-sensitive medications and medical supplies on the following day via proper channels. Coroner Daniel offered advice, advising those in similar situations to contact authorities immediately instead of taking matters into their own hands.

The incident serves as a stark reminder to be vigilant when receiving deliveries that seem unusual or unexpected.

What's going on with these delivery companies?! 🚚😱 I mean, how do they even mistake human body parts for medicine? And what's the deal with Nashville airport-like facility? Sounds sketchy to me... 🤔 Anyway, glad the woman got her meds and medical supplies safely. Hope they're investigating this thoroughly to make sure it doesn't happen again. You'd think companies would have better systems in place to avoid these kinds of mistakes. And what about those who might get affected by receiving wrong packages? 😬

I mean, can you even imagine getting that kind of package in the mail? 😱 I'm glad the woman was smart enough to call 911 and not try to handle it herself, because who knows what would've happened if she had? 🤯 It's just crazy to think about human body parts being used for medical training or whatever. I hope they're properly identifying the donors and stuff so this doesn't happen again. And I'm pretty sure they should be using better packaging or something, like a regular box instead of these weird boxes with ice in them... that's just gross 🤢 anyway, glad everyone is okay and got their meds on time! 👍

🚨 This is just crazy! I mean, what even is the logic behind sending human body parts with medicine? It's like they think we're all just going to casually accept some severed limbs in our packages. Like, no thanks! 🤣 The fact that this woman had to call 911 and deal with a coroner showing up at her door just to get her medication is just wild. And what's with the supposed 'transplant' excuse? I'm not buying it... 😒 At least everyone involved seems to be okay, but this whole thing is just plain weird and unsettling. 🤪

ugh, this is so crazy 😱... can't believe someone would send human body parts by mistake... like, what's the protocol for handling this kind of thing? 🤔 how do you even make sure it's not a prank or something? and why were these body parts being used for transplant purposes in the first place? 🚨 i mean, i'm glad no one got hurt but this is just so messed up... should really be checking packages more thoroughly before opening them, you know? 💀

I'm still trying to wrap my head around this crazy story 🤯📦 I mean, can you even imagine getting a package with human body parts instead of meds? It's like something out of a horror movie! The fact that it was intended for surgical training purposes is kinda reassuring, but at the same time, it's just wild to think about how easily someone could get their hands on human tissue 🤕.

I'm glad the woman got her meds eventually, and I hope she's okay after this whole ordeal 😬. And kudos to the coroner for handling the situation professionally 👏. It's definitely a good reminder to be cautious with deliveries that seem off 💡. If you're getting something weird in the mail, just chill and call the authorities, right? 📞

Ugh, can't believe this is still happening 🤯. Like, come on forum, how hard is it to have proper moderation? A woman getting human body parts in her package instead of medicine? It's just too much 😩. And what really gets me is that she didn't even get a heads up from the delivery company. No explanation, no warning sign...just a bunch of severed limbs on ice 🤢.

And don't even get me started on how this happened in the first place 🤷‍♂️. A school or hospital should have some basic quality control checks in place to ensure they're not sending out cadavers for non-medical purposes. It's just a huge safety risk and a total lack of oversight.

Anyway, glad she got her meds eventually 💊, but can we please just focus on having a safe and functional forum instead of talking about weird delivery incidents? 🤦‍♂️

Ugh 🤯 I mean, can you even imagine getting something like that in the mail?! Like, what's next? A package with a surprise pet snake? 🐍😂 It's crazy to think about how one mistake could lead to all this drama and attention. Thankfully the woman got her meds sorted out, but still...who checks human body parts for shipping labels? 😂 You gotta wonder what kind of system fails like that. Anyway, I guess it's a good reminder to be careful with your deliveries and to know who to call if something doesn't seem right. 📦🚨

Wow 🤯 this is so messed up ... how does something like this even happen? 😱 I mean, who just sends human body parts in the mail by accident? and what's with the 911 call - did she really think it was her meds or what? 🤦‍♀️ anyway glad the woman got her meds eventually but ugh this whole thing is just gross 💀

🚨 What's next? Sending pizzas with human organs on the side? 🍕👀 This is insane! How do you even get your hands on human body parts for delivery?! 😱 The least they could've done was throw in some gloves to handle it 😂

omg this is so creepy 😱 i mean what even is the logic behind sending human body parts with meds? like who checks these packages? 🤔 anyway glad no one got hurt and thanks for the heads up, gonna double check my online orders from now on 📦💉 ugh just thinking about those severed limbs gives me chills 😳
