Man
... thinkin' about this Rosenior fella breakin' that glass ceiling is super inspiring
, but at the same time, it's like, what took 'em so long?
We're still seein' way too many clubs not doin' enough to mix things up. I mean, 3.2% of Premier League board members bein' ethnically diverse? That's just crazy
. And it's not just about numbers, it's about the fact that there are qualified black coaches out there who deserve a shot
.
But for real though, this is somethin' we need to keep pushin' on
. We can't just celebrate one person breakin' a barrier without makin' sure that there's a system in place to keep it from happenin' again
. We need more transparency and accountability, 'specially when it comes to recruitment processes
.
And let's not forget that this is just the tip of the iceberg
. There are so many other barriers to break down in football, like better representation on the pitch, more inclusive marketing campaigns, all that jazz
. So yeah, Rosenior's appointment is a step in the right direction, but we gotta keep pushin' for more
.
But for real though, this is somethin' we need to keep pushin' on
And let's not forget that this is just the tip of the iceberg
