Mamdani dumps Williamsburg Bridge bump, steamrolling bike lane obstacle

I'm so stoked that Mayor Mamdani is tackling those bike lanes ASAP! I mean, who wants to deal with a crazy bump on Delancey Street? It's all about making it safer and more fun for cyclists out there. But, at the same time, Hayden's point about the narrow opening onto Delancey Street being a problem is super valid... like, what if you're just cruising along and then BAM! You've got to cut off everyone else? And I'm totally down for some adrenaline-fueled bike riding too... those bumps were the best part of navigating that bridge! Now, let's hope this new fix doesn't lead to more problems down the line. The city needs someone who's gonna keep pushing for changes and making sure our streets are safe and awesome for everyone

omg did u know that bike lanes are like super hard 2 maintain lol i mean idk how many ppl r gonna ride across that bridge but its def a good move cuz who wants 2 slam on their brakes all the time anyway back 2 the main point ppl r actually pretty split about it some say its a win while others think its still not safe and i feel u marcus u get that adrenaline rush from bike lanes they r fun but also kinda scary
