A critically injured man was found Thursday night in Washington Park after a shot rang out. According to authorities, the victim, whose age has not been disclosed, was discovered at 8:41 p.m. in the first block of East Garfield Boulevard lying face down with a gunshot wound in his chest.
Police officers were summoned to the scene and took the man into custody immediately, though no further details have been released about the suspect's identity or condition.
