Mixed Reality Link for Windows 11 and Meta Quest headsets is now available to everyone

Meta's Horizon OS Brings Immersive Productivity to Windows 11 and Quest Headsets

The wait is finally over for those eager to experience the power of mixed reality on their Windows devices. The latest release of Meta's Horizon OS has made Mixed Reality Link, a feature that allows users to access their virtual desktops from their Windows 11 PCs, available to everyone.

With the latest update, Windows users can now pair their machines with their Meta Quest 3 and 3S headsets, unlocking an immersive productivity experience. This is made possible by the ability to connect their devices to cloud-based solutions like Windows 365 Cloud PC, Azure Virtual Desktop, Microsoft Dev Box, and others, allowing users to access multiple high-resolution monitors at once.

The cost difference between Meta's affordable Meta Quest 3S headset ($300) and Apple's Vision Pro ($3,500) makes this technology more accessible to the average consumer. This development marks a significant milestone for Meta, which has been investing heavily in virtual reality and augmented reality technology.

In addition to Mixed Reality Link, Facebook's parent company has announced plans for a futuristic VR headset that promises "VR experiences indistinguishable from the physical world", as well as smart glasses with Meta AI live translation and 3K video recording. These innovations demonstrate Meta's commitment to revolutionizing the way we interact with technology in the future.

omg I just got my hands on a new gaming PC ๐Ÿคฉ and it has Windows 11 ๐Ÿ“Š I was wondering, how does this mixed reality thingy work? like, do I really see virtual monitors or is it just like playing games with better graphics? ๐ŸŽฎ also, $3k for those glasses?!?! that's crazy expensive ๐Ÿ’ธ maybe I'll stick to my Meta Quest 3S headset which is like half the price ๐Ÿ˜…

๐Ÿคฏ I'm loving this new tech! Being able to access multiple monitors on my headset is like having a superpower ๐Ÿ“Š. It's crazy how affordable the Meta Quest 3S is compared to that Apple thingy... $300 is a steal for all these features ๐Ÿค‘. I've been waiting for something like this, it's finally making mixed reality mainstream ๐Ÿ”ฅ. And can we talk about the future plans? Smart glasses with AI translation? Mind blown ๐Ÿ˜ฒ. This is exactly what I want from my VR experience - seamless interaction and immersion ๐ŸŒ. Meta's on a roll, let's see what other magic they have in store for us ๐Ÿ”ฎ๐Ÿ’ซ

I'm loving this update on Meta's Horizon OS, it's like they're making mixed reality feel like a norm already ๐Ÿ˜‚. I mean, $300 for a VR headset is crazy affordable compared to Apple's Vision Pro, that thing must be out of this world (literally). The idea of accessing multiple high-res monitors at once is super cool and opens up so many productivity possibilities. Can't wait to try it out on my Windows 11 PC ๐Ÿค–.

Just got my hands on this new Horizon OS update ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿ“ˆ, and I gotta say, it's a total game-changer for productivity! Mixed Reality Link is a total lifesaver when it comes to multitasking - I can have multiple high-res monitors up and running at the same time ๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ๐Ÿ’ป. The cost of the Quest 3S headset ($300) is super reasonable compared to Apple's Vision Pro ($3,500) ๐Ÿ’ธ. It's awesome that Meta's making VR tech more accessible to everyone ๐Ÿ”“. Can't wait to try out their new futuristic VR headset and smart glasses with AI live translation ๐Ÿค–๐Ÿ”!

omg, this is so cool! ๐Ÿคฉ meta finally made mixed reality on windows 11 available to everyone! $300 for a headset that lets me have multiple monitors on my desk? that's like having an extra monitor or two ๐Ÿ“บ๐Ÿ’ป it's about time they made VR more accessible to regular people. the vision pro from apple is out of budget for most ppl, so meta's affordable option is a game changer ๐Ÿ‘

im so hyped about meta's horizon os, its like they finally cracked the code on making mixed reality a thing that can actually be used for productivity ๐Ÿ˜… imagine being able to have multiple monitors at once and working in virtual reality, it would be a whole new level of focus ๐Ÿคฏ plus with the quest headsets being more affordable now compared to apple's vision pro, i think we'll see a lot of people jumping into this tech soon ๐Ÿ’ธ

I'm so done with how Meta is pushing their new VR tech on us... it feels like they're just trying to make a profit off our curiosity ๐Ÿค‘. I mean, $300 for a headset that's supposed to be affordable? Compare that to Apple's "affordable" Vision Pro at $3,500? Come on! And what's with the marketing hype around these new features? Mixed Reality Link is cool and all, but it just means I have to deal with more lag and bugs in my workflow ๐Ÿ˜ฉ. Not to mention, what's up with the lack of actual content for us users to enjoy? It feels like Meta's only interested in making us shell out more cash...

omg just think about it, you can play games or work on ur project in virtual reality lol its like something out of a sci-fi movie but now its a reality and its only getting more affordable ๐Ÿคฏ๐Ÿ’ป i mean apple's vision pro is outta this world literally but meta's quest 3s is way more within reach of regular ppl which is awesome in my opinion ๐Ÿ‘

oic, this new meta os is actually pretty cool! no more laggy screens or cramped keyboard/mouse combos for me lol ๐Ÿคฃ think it's awesome that they're making mixed reality a thing on windows 11 & quest headsets... now i can focus on my gaming & dev work without the hassle of dealing with multiple monitors and stuff ๐ŸŽฎ๐Ÿ’ป
