I'm a bit concerned about the whole thing, but at the same time I get why they wanna do this

. Like, you got these protests going on and people getting hurt, and it's hard for the cops to just chill while that's happening. But simultaneously, you don't wanna just be like "oh yeah, we're gonna throw in some National Guard troops to calm things down" because that can feel super heavy-handed

I think what I'm trying to say is that it's all about finding this balance between keeping people safe and not getting too caught up in the politics of it all. It's like, the cops already got their hands full just dealing with these protests, so adding more troops to the mix might just add fuel to the fire

Still, I guess it's better than nothing, right? At least now they've got some extra bodies on hand to help mediate things if things get out of hand

. But we'll just have to wait and see how this all plays out in the end...
