MN Supreme Court reopens Keith Ellison’s wage theft case against Madison Equities

I gotta say, this whole thing is a bit weird 🤔. I mean, companies can't just stall for time when it comes to paying their workers fair wages. It's not like they're trying to pull a fast one on anyone (although, from what I've heard about Madison Equities' financial struggles, maybe that's exactly what happened 🤑). The idea that the statute of limitations could be extended indefinitely based on when the attorney general says enough evidence is handed over seems pretty shady 💸. And can we talk about how this affects all the workers who are still trying to get paid for their overtime work? It feels like they're being left hanging (no pun intended ⏰). I'm not saying that the Supreme Court's decision was motivated by bad intentions, but...I don't know, it just seems like a lot of backpedaling going on 😒.

🤷‍♀️ so its not surprising the court reopened this case, I mean who doesn't love a good game of "stall for time"? It just goes to show that sometimes you really have to think outside the box (or statute of limitations) to get justice served 💁‍♀️. And honestly, can we talk about how convenient it is for companies like Madison Equities to have a "widow" who's all like "oh woe is me, my husband passed away and now I need to sell off our properties"... sounds like some corporate spin to me 🤑.

so like i was reading about this madon equities thing and its crazy how the court is reopening the case because apparently the statute of limitations just kinda didnt matter lol it seems like the company just kept delaying and delaying till now they have to pay up i think its kinda sus that some justices are worried it could change the rules or somethin but at least we know whats gonna happen next 3/5

🤔 this is crazy 🙄 I mean, who gets to stall for time like that? 😒 Madison Equities must be losing sleep 😴 thinking about this one 🕰️ and I'm not surprised they're struggling financially 💸 another reason for wage theft victims to fight hard 💪 Attorney General Keith Ellison's concerns are valid 🤝 but at least the case is getting new life ⚡️ Justice McKeig's decision might change civil procedure rules 📚 it's about time someone held companies accountable 💼 and if the state can prove more evidence, they should be able to extend the statute of limitations 🕰️ but not indefinitely 😅
