'My kids buy me food': civil service pensioners offered emergency loans as nearly 90,000 face delays

omg did u hear about this civil service pension scheme delay thingy? like 90k ppl are stuck w/o income & some have had to beg family/friends 4 cash. cant believe they made capita handle it tho 🤯 what's the deal w/ that? i feel so bad 4 them, especially those who r struggling 2 pay bills & food. gov should def help ASAP. btw has anyone got a good loan place 4 emergencies?

Ugh, this is just great 🤦‍♀️. I mean, can you believe the government finally acknowledges the mess they've made with the Civil Service Pension Scheme? 90k+ cases backed up... what a disaster 😩. And now they're offering interest-free loans to people who have been left without income for months? Yeah right, like that's gonna help 🤑. I mean, where's the plan to prevent this from happening in the first place? It's just a bandaid solution at best 💉. And what about those who can't afford to borrow £10k or even £5k? Just great, they're stuck in limbo... meanwhile, their homes are at risk of repossession 🏠😱. The government should have thought this one through before outsourcing the administration to Capita. Now it's just a mess 🤯.
