Nani: Former Portugal winger comes out of retirement to join Kazakh side FC Aktobe

Portugal winger Nani, a former Manchester United and Sporting Lisbon star, has come out of retirement to sign with Kazakhstan club FC Aktobe on a one-season contract. The 39-year-old had retired from playing in December 2024, after not playing since his last match for Estrela da Amadora against Sporting in the Portuguese top flight.

Nani expressed happiness at joining the club and looking forward to contributing to its development and growth in football. FC Aktobe regards Nani as an international reference figure and sees him as a key player in expanding both the club's global presence and Kazakhstani football.

Nani, who won numerous titles with Manchester United including the Champions League, four Premier League titles, and two League Cups, has had spells at several clubs during his career. He also earned 112 caps for Portugal and helped his country win Euro 2016.

The move marks a new chapter in Nani's career, as he looks to bring experience and expertise to FC Aktobe.

I'm surprised Nani is coming out of retirement ๐Ÿค”. I mean, the guy's still got skills, right? It'll be interesting to see how he adapts to Kazakhstan football. 112 caps for Portugal is no joke! ๐Ÿ™Œ The fact that FC Aktobe sees him as a key player in expanding their global presence makes sense, especially considering his Champions League win with Manchester United. I just hope Nani can stay injury-free and enjoy this new chapter in his career ๐Ÿ’ช.

๐Ÿค” can believe it ๐Ÿ˜‚, Nani's back in the game at 39! He's got so much history in football already, I'm not sure what kind of player they're expecting from him ๐Ÿˆ. That said, he's still an international reference figure and bringing that experience to Kazakhstan could be a game changer โšฝ๏ธ. I hope he brings some joy back to the fans and gets to enjoy his last season of playing before hanging up his boots again ๐Ÿ˜Š.

OMG ๐Ÿคฏ just heard about Nani coming out of retirement lol! 39 and still got it ๐Ÿ™Œ I'm low-key hyped for him to play in Kazakhstan ๐Ÿ˜‚ he's like a legend on the pitch, won so many titles with Manchester United and Portugal too ๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡น who else is excited for this new chapter in his career? FC Aktobe is gonna be fire ๐Ÿ”ฅ with Nani on board! ๐Ÿ’ช

๐Ÿค” what a legendary move by Nani! 39 and still chasing greatness ๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ’จ. I think this is gonna be super inspiring for the young players at FC Aktobe to see him in action. Kazakhstan might just get a serious boost in football โšฝ๏ธ. Can't wait to see how he brings his experience to the team! ๐Ÿ‘Š

๐Ÿค” I'm not surprised that Nani is coming out of retirement... 39 isn't old, you know ๐Ÿ˜…. He must be feeling like he still has some good years left in him. I mean, who wouldn't want to play for FC Aktobe? They're a pretty up-and-coming club and it's cool that they think Nani can help them grow. ๐Ÿ’ช Plus, he's got so much experience under his belt - all those titles with Manchester United must be worth something ๐Ÿ†. I'm curious to see how he'll do in Kazakhstan, but I guess you never know what kind of spark someone like him can bring to a team... ๐Ÿ‘€

just thinkin' about nani comin out of retirement is crazy lol ๐Ÿคฏ he was supposed to be retired already! but i guess u can never tell when someone's gonna wanna keep goin ๐Ÿ’ช still a legend in the football world, no doubt about it ๐Ÿ‘. and kazakhstan? who would've thought right? ๐Ÿ˜‚ but hey, gotta respect his decision, especially at 39, he's still got game ๐Ÿค

just can't believe nani is back on the pitch at 39 lol ๐Ÿคฃ but i gotta respect the man's dedication & willingness to give it another shot. been hearing rumors about him wanting to give back to the sport he loves & now he gets a chance with fc aktobe ๐Ÿ™Œ seems like they're giving him a great platform to make an impact. wonder how his team will fare with him leading the charge ๐Ÿ’ช

๐Ÿ˜Š oh man I'm loving this move by Nani! at 39 years old he's still got it in him ๐Ÿคธโ€โ™‚๏ธ to make an impact on the pitch. I think it's amazing that he's decided to come out of retirement and give himself a new challenge, not just for the club but also for his own personal growth. FC Aktobe is definitely a great choice for him, who knows maybe this will be the start of something big for Kazakhstani football? ๐Ÿคž

I'm loving this unexpected turn of events! Nani coming out of retirement at 39 is like a fine wine getting better with age ๐Ÿ˜Š. I think it's awesome that he's choosing Kazakhstan over sitting on the sidelines. FC Aktobe must be thrilled to have him on board, and who can blame them? The guy's got loads of experience and achievements under his belt! ๐Ÿ† He's gonna bring a wealth of knowledge to the team, which is perfect for developing young players and growing their global presence.

It's also interesting to see how this move will affect Kazakhstani football. I'm curious to see Nani in action at FC Aktobe and how he'll help shape the club's identity ๐Ÿค”. One thing's for sure โ€“ it's not every day you see a legend like Nani lacing up his boots again ๐Ÿ‘Ÿ. Bring on the excitement!

๐Ÿ˜Š Nani going back to the pitch at 39 is actually kinda inspiring, you feel? I mean, most people are done playing by half that age ๐Ÿ˜‚. He's gotta be in top shape though! I'm curious how his pace will hold up. Still a legend of football, no matter what club he plays for โค๏ธ

๐ŸŒŸ I'm literally stoked for Nani right now! Who wouldn't want to see the king of skill still killing it on the pitch? 39?! That's older than some of the players I know who are just starting out. But seriously, it shows that Nani is all about living his best life and not letting age hold him back. FC Aktobe is one lucky club! ๐Ÿ’ฅ I love how he's looking forward to contributing to their growth and helping develop young players too...he's like a role model, but even better, because he's still got the game face on ๐Ÿ˜‚. Bring it on Nani!

I don't trust Nani, he's trying to cling to the past with this one-season contract. A 39-year-old trying to revive his career? It's just a publicity stunt at this point. I mean, who needs that much experience anyway? The whole thing smells like a money grab. FC Aktobe is probably getting a lot of heat for signing an old has-been, and Nani's gonna be the laughing stock in Kazakhstan soon enough ๐Ÿ˜’

MAN, I JUST LEARNED THAT NANI IS COMING OUT OF RETIREMENT!!! ๐Ÿคฏ he's only 39 but still got some magic left in him, you feel me? ๐Ÿ”ฎ i think it's awesome that he's signing with FC Aktobe, they need someone like him to help take the club to the next level. and let's be real, who wouldn't want to see nani on the pitch again? ๐ŸŸ๏ธ his experience and expertise are gonna be a game changer for them. plus, it's not every day you see a legend like him come back to play in asia! ๐Ÿ˜Ž

๐Ÿ˜Š I'm loving this comeback story! Who says you're too old for the game? Nani's determination is truly inspiring ๐Ÿ™Œ. I remember watching him play back in his prime days at Manchester United - what a winger! His speed, skill, and vision on the pitch were unmatched โšก๏ธ. Now, seeing him bring that expertise to FC Aktobe can only be a positive for the club ๐Ÿ†. And let's not forget, he's still got plenty of experience under his belt - 112 caps for Portugal is no joke! ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡น. I'm excited to see how this new chapter unfolds... maybe we'll even see him lead FC Aktobe to some big wins? ๐Ÿ’ช
