. I'm trying to imagine how scared those 17 people must've been, and that poor 8-year-old... ugh. It's just not right.

This is straight up senseless. I mean, can you even imagine being at a kid's birthday party and just walking into a hail of bullets? It's like something out of a horror movie. And now we're dealing with people who are literally wearing black masks to hide their faces... what kind of monster does that? The fact that it took weeks or months for the police to even release pics of the cars is wild, though. I guess you could say they were playing a game of "hide and seek" while people were left to pick up the pieces.
