NFL Divisional Round straight up, against the spread, and survivor pool picks

NFL Divisional Round Predictions: A Look at the Picks and Survivor Pool Strategy

As we head into the Divisional Round of the NFL playoffs, here are my picks for straight-up wins, against-the-spread bets, and a strategy for a survivor pool.

First up is Buffalo Bills (-1.5) vs Denver Broncos. The Broncos' ability to pressure quarterbacks has been their biggest strength this season, but I have more confidence in Josh Allen's ability to make plays with his legs than Bo Nix can. Give me the Bills.

Next, we have the San Francisco 49ers (-7) at Seattle Seahawks. In Week 18, the Seahawks dominated the 49ers physically, and I expect a similar result this week. The Niners lost George Kittle to injury in their Wild Card Round win, which makes them even more vulnerable. Take the Seahawks to cover.

Moving on to New England Patriots (-3) vs Houston Texans. While the Texans have an outstanding defense, they're difficult to trust because of C.J. Stroud's tendency to go cold for long stretches. Give me Matthew Stafford and the Rams' offense in this matchup instead.

Speaking of the Rams (-3.5), they'll face a tough test against the Chicago Bears at home. The Bears have had an impressive string of comeback victories, but I believe the Rams will close them out. The weather conditions won't be ideal, but Caleb Williams has shown his ability to make plays with his legs in cold temperatures.

Finally, we have my survivor pool strategy. I'll take the Patriots this week and either the Bills or Broncos next week. There's a lot of money on the line, as I've made a comeback against the spread this season and need four wins out of five to stay above .500.

Here are my picks for straight-up wins and against-the-spread bets:

- Buffalo Bills (+1.5)
- Seattle Seahawks (+7)
- Houston Texans (+3)
- Los Angeles Rams (-3.5)

In terms of the survivor pool, I'll be taking either the Bills or Broncos next week.

so I'm thinking about the NFL playoffs and how some teams are doing way better than others ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿˆ I mean like what's up with the Buffalo Bills, they're looking pretty strong right now ๐Ÿค‘ Josh Allen is a beast on the field! but Denver's defense is pretty solid too ๐Ÿ‘Š how do you think they'll do against the Broncos' pass rush? ๐Ÿค“ and omg can't believe Seattle beat San Francisco in Week 18 ๐Ÿ˜ฑ I'm still feeling bad for that one ๐Ÿ’”

I gotta say, I'm loving the Bills' chances against those Broncos! Josh Allen's got some crazy skills and can make plays with his legs like nobody's business ๐Ÿˆ๐Ÿ’ฅ. I also think Seattle's gonna come out on top against SF - they just looked too physical in their last matchup ๐Ÿคฏ. And don't even get me started on the Rams' offense, Matthew Stafford's a beast! The only thing that might mess up their game is the weather ๐ŸŒฉ๏ธ. As for survivor pools, I'm all about taking calculated risks and hoping for the best ๐Ÿค‘...but I gotta agree with you, going with either Buffalo or Denver next week would be a solid move ๐Ÿ˜Ž

im skeptical about these picks ๐Ÿค”... first off, the bills are gonna get destroyed by denver, josh allen willnt be able to do enough with his legs alone ๐Ÿ˜‚ and the seahawks have way more depth than people think they do, george kittle or not ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ. and dont even get me started on the patriots, matthew stafford is like 10 times better than caleb williams ๐Ÿ’ช... also what's with all the teams that are gonna get blown out? ๐Ÿšฎ

I don't know about this NFL stuff ๐Ÿค”... so these teams are playing each other and their strengths? The Broncos' ability to pressure quarterbacks is legit, but Josh Allen's legs? Has he ever played against a real defense? ๐Ÿˆ I need some stats or video evidence on that. And what's with the Bills being favored by 1.5? That's not much of a margin considering how good Denver's pass rush is...

man i think the rams are gonna crush it against the bears despite the weather conditions โ„๏ธ they've got a solid defense and caleb williams is on fire ๐Ÿˆ Caleb's ability to make plays with his legs in cold temps gives me confidence he can outlast the bears' comeback attempts ๐Ÿ’ช

man this nfl playoff vibes are everything ๐Ÿคฉ like i gotta say i'm feelin buffalo bills all the way they got josh allen and that's a big deal bo nix can't touch him in a physical game ๐Ÿ’ช meanwhile denver broncos pressure on QBs is real but i trust bill's offense to make plays when it matters most ๐Ÿ’ฅ san francisco 49ers gotta get kittle back from injury or they're done ๐Ÿค• and Seahawks are all over them this week โšก๏ธ

I'm still thinking about that crazy comeback game between the Bears and the Lions in Week 17 ๐Ÿคฏ I mean, how many times have we seen a team turn it around like that? It's gonna happen again with the Bears against the Rams at home. Matthew Stafford is gonna get rocked by Caleb Williams in the cold weather โ„๏ธ

the NFL playoffs are always so much fun to watch, especially in the divisional round! ๐Ÿˆ i'm loving the picks from the article, but i gotta say, i'm a bit skeptical about the Rams' chances against the Chicago Bears. weather conditions can be super tough on offenses, and Caleb Williams is still getting some experience under his belt ๐Ÿ˜…. personally, i'd take the Bears to pull off an upset at home.

and omg, who else is loving the Bills' confidence in Josh Allen's legs? ๐Ÿคธโ€โ™‚๏ธ that guy can make some crazy plays when he needs to! but seriously, it's gonna be a wild ride this weekend with all these big matchups...

The playoffs are here ๐Ÿˆ๐Ÿ’ฅ and it's time to make some picks! I'm all about the Bills, they're like the underdog that never gives up ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ‘Š. But for real, Josh Allen is on fire ๐Ÿ”ฅ and I trust him to make plays with his legs more than Bo Nix can ๐Ÿ’ช. On the other hand, the Seahawks are looking strong ๐Ÿ”, especially since they lost George Kittle to injury - that's like taking out the best player on the opposing team ๐Ÿ˜ฑ.

And let's be real, Matthew Stafford and the Rams are just a bit too good ๐Ÿคฉ, I mean who needs C.J. Stroud when you have Stafford, right? ๐Ÿ’โ€โ™‚๏ธ Caleb Williams might try to make some magic happen in the cold, but I think he'll get frozen out ๐Ÿ˜‚.

For my survivor pool strategy, I'm all about playing it safe...ish ๐Ÿค”. Take the Patriots and either the Bills or Broncos next week, that way I've got a solid chance of winning ๐Ÿ’ธ. Bring on the playoffs! ๐ŸŽ‰

oh man i cant believe the patriots are a favorite in this one they're so old school but like mathford stafford is a beast ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ’ช and he's gonna lead them to another upset win against the texans who have an awesome defense but CJ stroud just can't get it together at times ๐Ÿ˜’๐Ÿคฏ i'm all about the bills vs bronzos tho that one is gonna be insane ๐Ÿ’ฅ๐Ÿˆ

I'm telling ya, the Bills are gonna crush it against Denver ๐Ÿคฏ but at the same time, Josh Allen is just a wildcard and Bo Nix's legs can carry him to victory... wait, no way, that doesn't sound right ๐Ÿ™…โ€โ™‚๏ธ I mean, what if the Broncos' defense is too much for Allen? Ugh, my head is spinning!

And omg, take Seattle vs San Francisco, that Seahawks game was a total fluke last week ๐Ÿ˜’. They can't keep dominating like that against the 49ers again. Plus, George Kittle's injury really threw off their offense... unless the 49ers somehow find a way to win without him? ๐Ÿค”

I'm so down for Matthew Stafford and the Rams over the Texans though ๐Ÿ’ช, but maybe C.J. Stroud is just having an amazing game? ๐Ÿ˜ And can't wait to see Caleb Williams in action against the Bears... or is it gonna be a total snowdown โ„๏ธ?

My survivor pool strategy sounds solid but what if I pick wrong again? ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ

the buffalo bills are gonna smash that denver broncos game ๐Ÿคฏ i got a feeling josh allen is just too much for them to handle with his crazy arm and legs. and yeah, the niners losing george kittle for good makes them super vulnerable against the seahawks ๐Ÿšซ can't see the 49ers taking down the champs at home. and on a separate note, i'm all about that rams offense led by matthew stafford ๐Ÿ’ช they're gonna take out those bears at home no problem, even if it's a chilly one โ„๏ธ

I think the main issue here is that the Broncos are getting a lot of hype for their defense, but I'm not convinced it's enough to take down Josh Allen and the Bills. Allen has shown he can make plays with his legs when needed, and the Bills have a solid offense too. The Seahawks have a good chance of taking down the 49ers at home, especially since they lost George Kittle in their Wild Card win ๐Ÿค”. And as for the Rams, while they're a tough team to beat, I think Caleb Williams has shown enough promise in cold temperatures to make it through the game without issues ๐Ÿ’ช.

man i'm so hyped for the divisional round ๐Ÿคฉ the matchup between buffalo and denver is gonna be insane Josh allen vs bo nix i gotta go with the bills they got that offense on lock ๐Ÿ”’ meanwhile the patriots are looking solid against the texans CJ stroud can get cold at any moment Matthew stafford is my man ๐Ÿ‘ and whoa the rams facing the bears at home will be a battle but calvin wilson has shown he's got game โ„๏ธ
