idk why ppl still think the golden globes r the most prestigious awards

i mean, they've got a voting body that's still comprised of 300 members from around the world, which is kinda cool, but it's also like, have they considered just having a random selection process?

anyway, Nikki Glaser was pretty solid as a host, but let's be real, her jokes were mostly just jokes about rich celebs
but for real tho, it's great to see Teyana Taylor speak out about female empowerment and acceptance. that was really inspiring

and i love how the ceremony tried to mix up the format this year

like introducing Polymarket, which added an extra layer of unpredictability to the show... or so they thought
anyway, i think glaser's success as a host just goes to show that even in difficult times, a lil humor and levity can go a long way

maybe we should see more hosts like her?
