this police officer is on admin leave after hitting a naked guy with his car? Like, what's going through that officer's mind?! 
The video footage is super disturbing and it's hard to understand why they didn't just cuff the dude instead of using their vehicle as a blunt object. 
I'm all for keeping people in line, but not at the expense of human life! 
The fact that the officer used force like that raises so many questions about training and protocols within the department. Were they even trained to handle a situation like this?

this whole thing is just so... avoidable 
you'd think a calm approach would be the way to go, especially when someone's being reckless and putting themselves & others in harm's way. i'm all for holding officers accountable, but sometimes these situations feel like they're getting blown out of proportion 
. Like in "Training Day" or something - you know, where Denzel Washington's character is all like 'I'm just trying to protect myself'... yeah, no. That doesn't fly.
. The fact that the department is tight-lipped about it just makes me even more suspicious
