it's about time new york city takes a stand on this , like, guns are killing so many people in this city already and it's getting out of hand , we need to do something to prevent these senseless shootings, especially when they happen at home where kids can easily access them , graphic warning labels might not be enough but at least it's a start , i'm all for the city enforcing stricter gun laws and educating people about the risks involved , hopefully this bill passes and we'll see some real change soon
omg can u believe this? NYC is taking gun control to a whole new level by adding those graphic warning labels on guns ! it's about time someone took responsibility for the senseless violence in our city . i mean, have you seen the stats on gun deaths lately? tens of thousands?! that's just wild . and yeah, public health messages with images can be super effective . plus, who wouldn't want to see a picture of a brain hemorrhaging from a gunshot wound next to their gun ?! it's like they're trying to make us all think twice before buying that firearm . i'm lowkey hyped for this move
omg I think this is such a good idea ! like how they're already making us show proof we aren't crazy before getting a permit, why not just slap some scary images on the guns too? I mean I know some people will be all "but what about gun rights" but come on guys, our lives are way more important than our Second Amendment entitlements . And honestly can you think of anything else that has a warning label and we're like "oh okay, cool, now I'm good"? Like cigarettes or something? Guns kill people, it's just basic math . Anyway, I'm all for this and I hope it helps reduce the insane amount of gun violence in NYC .
It's about time we acknowledge the harsh reality of guns in our society . The fact that there are tens of thousands of deaths annually due to gun ownership is a staggering number. I think it's reasonable to require graphic warning labels on firearms, especially when considering how much risk they pose at home compared to self-defense.
The city's approach seems like a good starting point. Using public health messages accompanied by images can be a powerful way to convey the risks associated with gun ownership. It's also interesting that New York is already taking steps to address this issue, with its stringent gun laws and ongoing firearm safety initiatives οΈ.
One thing to consider is how these labels will be received by gun owners and enthusiasts. Some might see it as an overreach of government authority or an attempt to limit their Second Amendment rights . However, I think the benefits of reducing gun violence far outweigh any potential concerns about labeling. The city's stance on this issue demonstrates its commitment to prioritizing public safety .
OMG u guys!! NYC is about to make guns less accessible in shops like that's a big deal!!! I mean think about it if ppl can just walk into a shop n buy any ol gun without even knowing the risks involved its literally crazy! And those stats are insane tens of thousands of deaths every year and it gets worse at home . Like why r we still havin to educate ppl on this stuff?? Can't we just make guns safer or just not sell them at all?!? The images r gonna be graphic but honestly its better than the truth some ppl dont wanna know but w/e nyc is tryna do somethn about it. Fingers crossed this bill gets passed!!!
