Pam Bondi has a Fox News problem

Pam Bondi's department is hemorrhaging prosecutors, and nowhere is the crisis more visible than in Minnesota. The state's U.S. Attorney's office has been decimated, shrinking from 70 assistant federal prosecutors under Biden to as few as 17 now.

Bondi herself has proven that she will not exercise restraint when it comes to expressing her loyalty to Donald Trump. She recently threatened journalists on live television, stating that they would be held accountable if they continued to report on anti-immigration and Customs Enforcement protests. Her behavior has raised alarm among conservative media figures.

Several high-profile cases have come to a standstill because of the administration's handling of immigration enforcement campaigns. The department is struggling to process humanely and legally, with judges openly complaining about late filings and basic constitutional requirements being violated.

One prosecutor, Julie Le, described her own family as at risk of being swept up in the same dragnet she was forced to defend. She begged ICE to comply with court orders, emailing in 24-point font and threatening to name names in filings.

The Department of Justice used to be a career aspiration for lawyers across all backgrounds who believed they could serve the public and the law. Under Trump, it has become increasingly becoming an agency of career suicide, where experienced attorneys are fleeing.

Bondi's behavior has been widely criticized, with some media figures warning that the department should only exist if it is nonpartisan. The National Review warned that supporting the incumbent president being a condition of enforcing the law would be "too dangerous to liberty otherwise."

I'm so worried about what's going on with the Department of Justice πŸ€•. It seems like Pam Bondi and her team are more focused on pleasing Trump than doing their jobs right. I mean, threatening journalists on live TV? That's just unacceptable 😱. And it's not just that - it sounds like they're letting politics get in the way of justice. I've seen some cases where prosecutors have been forced to stop because of stuff going down with immigration enforcement... it's just not right πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ.

And I feel bad for the lawyers who are actually trying to do their job, but can't because of the craziness around them πŸ˜”. It's like they're being bullied into silence or something. I get that we need people in politics to care about certain issues, but not at the expense of our justice system πŸ™…β€β™€οΈ. We should want lawyers who are passionate about serving the public and upholding the law, not just doing whatever Trump wants πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ.

This whole thing is just super concerning for me... I wish there was a way to get back to a time when politics wasn't so intertwined with our justice system πŸ•°οΈ.

can't believe what's happening at the DOJ 🀯 70 prosecutors down to 17? that's just crazy. and it's not like they're all conservatives either, some of them have been working on civil rights cases. what's going on is a disaster. Bondi's behavior is just plain scary 😱 she's basically intimidating people into shutting up about her politics. and now we're hearing from prosecutors who are literally living in fear of their families being targeted by ICE. this isn't what the DOJ should be about, it's supposed to be about serving justice not just some politician's agenda 🚫

omg u guys idk what's going on w/ Pam Bondi rn she's literally bleeding prosecutors like they r nobodies and its all cuz of trump bc he's got her ear lol but seriously tho its so sad 2 c experienced lawyers just leave bcos of his toxic admin i mean who would wanna work for a place thats basically become an extension of the pres's ego? 🀯😱 even tho im not into politics im like "hey, can we pls just have a nonpartisan DOJ? πŸ˜’"

πŸ€” I mean, think about it... the US Attorney's office in Minnesota used to have 70 assistants now they got down to 17? That's like a train derailing right before our eyes! And all because Pam Bondi and her department are more interested in pleasing Trump than doing their job right. It's crazy how some people can be so blind to the consequences of their actions, especially when it comes to human rights πŸ™…β€β™‚οΈ. I remember when I was younger, my dad used to work for a non-profit org that dealt with immigration issues and they always said the Department of Justice is supposed to be above politics... now it seems like we're seeing the opposite happening. What's going on here? πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

I don’t usually comment but... I'm kinda worried about the state of the U.S. Attorney's office, especially in places like Minnesota πŸ€”. 70 assistant prosecutors just became 17? That's insane! And it's not just the numbers that are concerning, it's what this means for the country. The Department of Justice used to be all about serving the law and protecting people's rights, but now it seems like it's becoming a tool for politics 🚫.

I mean, think about it, if you're an experienced lawyer who wants to do good work, why would you want to join the DOJ under Trump? It sounds like they're more interested in going after certain groups of people than doing what's right πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ. And Bondi's behavior is just icing on the cake... threatening journalists on live TV? That's not how you handle criticism πŸ˜’.

It's like, I get it, there are certain issues that need to be addressed, but shouldn't we be able to do that without resorting to intimidation and fear-mongering? 🀯

the whole thing is just wild 🀯... i mean, 17 prosecutors in minnesota? what's going on over there? πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ and yeah, bondi's behavior is super concerning 😬 she's basically turning the us attorney's office into a trump boot camp 🚫. it's no wonder experienced attorneys are fleeing the department πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ. i'm not surprised to hear that judges are complaining about late filings and violating basic constitutional requirements πŸ“. newsflash: following the law isn't optional πŸ™…β€β™€οΈ. and what's with the threat of emailing in 24-point font? is she trying to prove a point or something πŸ˜‚?

omg its like literally the entire justice system is falling apart 😱 under bondis watch the state us attorneys office in minnesota has shrunk from 70 to 17 prosecutors and its not even a whisper of what was happening before biden took office 🀯 and honestly who would want to work for someone who thinks they can intimidate journalists into silence on tv like that? πŸ’β€β™€οΈ and then theres the fact that high-profile cases are coming to a standstill because of bondis department just messing everything up its not just about immigration either, its basic human rights being violated πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

omg 🀯 have u seen this?! 😲 Pam Bondi's dept is losing prosecutors left & right - 70 in minnesota now?! that's like a huge chunk of their staff gone! πŸ“Š stats say between 2017-2020, the us attorney's office lost over 20% of its staff... meanwhile, immigration cases are just piling up 🚫 and judges r complaining about all this drama. it's like a big mess πŸ€ͺ & u can't even trust the ppl in charge anymore πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ they're more worried about covering trump's back than doing their job πŸ™…β€β™‚οΈ
