People are getting their news from AI – and it’s altering their views

🤔 I'm tellin' ya, this is gettin' weird. They're sayin' these AI news outlets are shapin' public perception like it's nobody's business? And they can't even see the bias in what they're doin'? It's all about the data and who's controlin' that data, fam 🤑. These big companies are just playin' both sides against each other to make a buck. We need to take control of our own info flow, not rely on these biased models to tell us what's up 💻. And don't even get me started on the EU's efforts to regulate this stuff... it's like they're tryin' to paper over the cracks instead of fixin' the problem at its source 🚧.

I'm like totally stoked about this whole AI thing 🤖, but at the same time, I'm super concerned about all the potential biases creeping in 💔. I mean, if large language models are gonna shape public perception, we need to make sure they're not just pushing a specific agenda 📰. It's crazy to think that these models can subtly sway opinions without even realizing it 😳.

I know governments have tried to tackle this issue with policies like the AI Act and Digital Services Act, but I'm not convinced they're doing enough 🔒. We need more transparency and accountability, for sure 💡, but we also need to encourage competition and user-driven innovation 🚀. If only a few big players can dominate the market, it's gonna be tough to get rid of those biases 🤝.

But what if we took things in the opposite direction? What if we made AI development all about collaboration and diversity 🌈? We could have more models popping up, each with their own unique perspectives 💬. That would definitely help create a more balanced ecosystem 🌎. And hey, who knows, maybe that's where the real magic happens ✨...

I'm still not sold on these AI-driven news outlets 🤔. I mean, think about it - if a model is only highlighting certain viewpoints while minimizing others, isn't that just another form of censorship? It's like they're creating this narrative for us and we're just blindly following along. And what's the incentive for these developers to present one perspective over another? Are they really trying to promote accuracy and fairness or are they just trying to make a buck? 🤑 The whole thing feels sketchy to me. We need more transparency, not less. Can't we just get a balanced view without having to rely on algorithms? 🤷‍♂️

🤔 I'm so over how everything is being tailored to fit whoever's getting paid the most 🤑. It's like they're trying to control our narrative on purpose 😒. These AI models are supposed to give us facts, but it feels like they're more interested in pushing their own agenda 📣. And don't even get me started on how hard it is to get unbiased info 💡. I mean, what even is the point of having a study that shows these models can be biased if we just gonna let them slide? 😐 Can't we get some real change around here? 🤷‍♂️

I'm thinking, like, how are we supposed to know what's real if the news we read is basically influenced by these fancy AI models? 🤔 It's not just about fake info or biased reporting, it's like they're presenting one side of the story while ignoring the other, you know? That's so weird. And I'm all for competition and transparency, but how do we make sure that only the good stuff gets out there? 📊
