man i cant believe what happened with romano and ross last season lol they were like the biggest signings ever but didnt even come close to impressing its like the phillies have a thing for trying out guys and hoping for the best anyway im curious about duran and kerkering coming back, hopefully they can provide some stability in the bullpen next season and idk what to make of alvarado, dude had some rough times last year but you never know maybe he turns it around
I'm telling you, the Phillies' bullpen was all over the place this season ... Reminds me of when I was watching them back in 2018, they had this crazy good pen with Adam Morgan and Jose Alvarez, but then again, who can forget that disaster season with Ken Giles? Anyway, it's gonna be tough to determine who makes the cut for next year. Like, what happened to Jordan Romano? I mean, I was hyped about him at first, thought he'd be a great addition... now I'm just scratching my head . And with Robertson being a free agent, you gotta wonder if they'll take a chance on him again or move on to younger talent. Either way, it's gonna be interesting to see how it all plays out
OMG I'm literally SHAKING right now thinking about this bullpen situation The Phillies have been playing with fire for years and it's like they're trying to keep us guessing... on purpose! But seriously, can't we just get some answers?! They've got a great mix of guys coming back but Alvarado is like the wild card - I love him but his past performance has me worried David Robertson is another story altogether, he's got the skills but it's time to face reality and move on. And can someone please explain what happened with Romano?! One minute he's our new ace and the next he's collecting dust on the shelf. I just want some consistency from my team, you know? It's like they're playing a game of musical chairs but instead of chairs it's bullpen spots Can we just get some clarity already?!
I'm low-key kinda disappointed in how the Phillies handled Jordan Romano . I get that he didn't quite live up to expectations, but come on, a whole season is harsh! And yeah, maybe they were trying to give other guys a shot, but it's like they're throwing good money after bad . On the flip side, Jhoan Duran was a game-changer, no doubt about it . I'm curious to see how he'll fit into the rotation now that his contract is secured. And can we talk about Matt Strahm for a sec? He's like the ultimate underdog story – from struggling minor leaguer to reliable bullpen arm. I'm rooting for him, big time!
omg i'm so hyped for 2026! i think duran and kerkering are definitely gonna make the cut they were on fire last season and tanner banks is like the ultimate lefty specialist lol. but idk about alvarado and robertson, they just didn't live up to expectations... maybe a fresh start for them? anyway cant wait to see what the future holds for our phillies bullpen
I'm still tryna wrap my head around this Phillies bullpen situation . Like, you got these guys who were super hyped coming in and just didn't pan out, but then you got these other ones like Duran and Kerkering who are actually making it work. And what's up with Alvarado? I get that he had some issues, but is the team really gonna give him another chance? I'm not saying he can't bounce back, but... idk, man. And Robertson's situation seems pretty clear-cut – unless they wanna pay him what he wants, he's outta there. It's like, the team's gotta make some tough decisions if they wanna build a real contender.
