Post your questions for Peaches

Peaches, the enigmatic Canadian singer-songwriter, is set to return with a bang – or rather, a blast of feminist punk rock – after a decade-long hiatus. Merrill Nisker, aka Peaches, emerged from Toronto's underground scene in the late 1990s, alongside fellow musicians who would go on to achieve mainstream success.

Her breakout moment arrived in the early 2000s with her debut album The Teaches of Peaches, featuring the iconic dance-punk track "Fuck the Pain Away," which catapulted her into the electroclash scene. Since then, she has released a string of provocative and catchy albums – Fatherfucker, Impeach My Bush, I Feel Cream, and Rub – collaborating with high-profile artists like Iggy Pop, Soulwax, and Kim Gordon.

Now, after an extended absence, Peaches is back with new music and a 27-date North American tour, set to kick off in February. The follow-up album, No Lube So Rude, is scheduled for release in 2026, while the first single, "Not In Your Mouth None of Your Business," has already made waves as a defiant anthem for queer liberation.

Peaches' music and message have always been characterized by their unapologetic energy and commitment to social justice. As she embarks on this new chapter, her dedication to advocating for trans rights is evident in the North American tour's charitable initiative: a dollar will be donated from every ticket sale to organizations supporting trans rights.

Music fans eager to reconnect with Peaches can submit their questions to her before November 18th, and the answers will be published in our Film & Music section on November 21st. With her unique blend of punk, rock, and electroclash, Peaches is poised to leave an indelible mark on the music scene once again – and we're excited to see what's next for this trailblazing artist.

I'm so over the whole "returning after a decade-long hiatus" vibe anymore 🙄. Like, can't she just drop some music whenever she feels like it? And don't even get me started on the obligatory charitable initiative... it's all good and well that she's supporting trans rights, but can't we just take her for who she is, punk rock energy and all? 🤘 The fact that fans are excitedly submitting their questions for a Q&A session is kinda cringeworthy too. Like, can't we just listen to the music already? 😒

"Be the change you wish to see in the world." 💥
Peaches' return is a beacon of hope for those seeking empowerment through music. Her unapologetic energy and commitment to social justice have always made her a hero to many, especially in the LGBTQ+ community. It's wonderful to see her dedicating her platform to supporting trans rights, making her fans feel seen and heard. The fact that every ticket sale will be donating to organizations supporting trans rights is just amazing 🤩

I'm stoked to see Peaches back in the game 💥! It's like she never left, you know? But seriously, her message is so resonant right now 🤝. With the whole trans rights movement gaining traction, it's awesome that she's using her platform to support the cause 💪. I mean, who else can say they're bringing feminist punk rock back from the ashes 🔥? It's like she's a symbol of resistance, you feel me? But what's interesting is how this aligns with the current political climate 🤔. We need more artists speaking truth to power and challenging the status quo. Peaches is leading the charge 💥, and I'm hyped to see where this journey takes her next! 🎸

🤘 I'm beyond hyped for Peaches' comeback! She's a true icon and has been using her platform to speak truth to power for years 🙌 The fact that she's donating a dollar from every ticket sale to trans rights orgs is just amazing ❤️ Can't wait to see what her new album No Lube So Rude brings - I'm already imagining the high-energy music videos 💃🏽🎥 And let's be real, "Not In Your Mouth None of Your Business" is already giving me LIFE 🤩 This tour is going to be EVERYTHING and more! 🎉

idk why ppl r always hyping up about "returning" artists like peaches lol... she's always been kinda of a wild card, but at least her music has been true to herself, you feel? and i'm not gonna lie, that new single is straight fire 🤘. but let's talk about the bigger picture - we're all just waiting for another "rockstar" to come along and "save the world"... meanwhile peaches has been doing this whole trans rights advocacy thing for years, no fanfare required 💁‍♀️. it's gonna be interesting to see how her fans react to this new music... are they still gonna be on board with all that raw energy and angst? 🤔

just heard about peaches comeback 🤩 i've been missing her energy since she stopped releasing new music like 10 yrs ago can't wait for her tour and that charity initiative 🎸💖 gotta say, her message of queer liberation and trans rights is so important let's get behind her and support the cause 💪

Just heard about Peaches coming back and I'm so down 🤘💖. Her energy and message are always inspiring, especially with that new trans rights initiative. Can't wait to hear the new music and catch her live! 💥

OMG, like literally can't wait for Peaches' new music 🎵🔥! I'm all about that feminist punk rock life 💁‍♀️🤘, and it's great to know she's back with a bang...and a cause 👏🕊️. That trans rights charity initiative? 👍💖, now we're talkin' about the kind of power that music can have 🎶💪! I'm low-key hoping for a tour in London too 🤞🗺️. On a more serious note though...what's next for Peaches? Will she break the internet again 💥🔥, or will it be a whole new level of awesomeness? Either way, bring it on! 🎉

I'm so stoked to hear that Peaches is back with a bang 🤘💥! I've been a fan since her early days in Toronto, and her unapologetic energy is exactly what the music world needs right now 😊. The fact that she's using her platform to advocate for trans rights and raise awareness about social justice issues is truly inspiring ❤️. I'm loving the idea of submitting questions to get answers from Peaches herself – it'll be so cool to see her responses in your Film & Music section 🤔. Can't wait to dive into "No Lube So Rude" when it comes out next year and experience the magic of her live show again 🎉. Has anyone else been following Peaches' journey over the years? What's your favorite song or album from her discography?

so stoked to hear peaches is back!!! 🤘 she was one of my fave artists back in the day, but i gotta say her break from music felt like forever 🕰️. i love how she's still pushing boundaries and using her platform for social justice – that charitable initiative for trans rights is everything ❤️. can't wait to listen to "not in your mouth none of your business" and what else she has cooking up in the studio 🎶.

anyway, peaches fans out there got a question for their queen? 🤔 submit them to us by november 18th and we'll feature her answers on our film & music section 📚🎵

OMG 🤯 I'm so stoked to hear that Peaches is back with new music and a tour! 💥 Her music has always been so empowering and uplifting, especially for the LGBTQ+ community 🌈. I've got my ticket sales marked down, can't wait to support her charity initiative and help make a difference for trans rights 💖. The fact that she's been keeping it real with unapologetic lyrics all these years is just a testament to her strength and conviction 🙏. Bring on the No Lube So Rude album in 2026, I'm counting down the days until its release 🎉!

I'm not sure about all these new age artists... I mean, don't get me wrong, Peaches was always cool, but 10 years is a long time, you know? What's changed? Is it just the world moving faster or what? I'm still on my old iPod and I don't need some fancy app to listen to music. 📻 And what's with all these charity initiatives? Don't get me wrong, it's great that she's giving back, but is this just a marketing ploy? I hope the music speaks for itself and not just the image.

And have you seen her tour dates? 27 shows in one month? That's like, crazy. What if they run out of seats or something? 🤔 I guess that's the world we're living in now, though... where everything is so fast-paced and instant gratification is key. I just wish people would slow down a bit and enjoy the music for what it is, you know?

I'm still excited to hear her new album, but only if it's not too polished or commercialized. That's when it loses its edge, you know? Give me raw energy and rebellious spirit over some glossy production any day! 💥
