like you'd think 13 league titles would be enough to put this behind him but nope 
his personal life seems to be affecting everything he tries to do now...thierry henry deserves it too though 
at least he's not got a dodgy past looming over him 
But no, they had to pull the plug on him because of some dodgy allegations from like 3 years ago. It's all so frustrating. And what's with the whole "previous shortlisting and notable achievements" thing? That just sounds like a load of BS. I mean, Thierry Henry is cool and all, but Giggs is a legend! 
The Premier League should at least have some kind of process for dealing with controversies like this, instead of just pulling the plug on someone's honor. It's like they're more concerned with being seen as moral authorities than actually making fair decisions. 
. but still think he deserves a second chance, even if it's just a small one. like, what about his career? that's all anyone should be talking about right now

i mean, 13 premier league titles is no joke but i guess personal life can be a real bummer 
they just go by previous voting data and stuff... doesn't seem like they really considered giggs' situation 
. I mean, if the Premier League was really that concerned about Giggs' personal life, why not take action back in 2023 when the charges were dropped? It seems to me they just wanted an excuse to rescind his invitation and avoid any more controversy 
how could they just cancel his invite tho? didn't he win 13 prem league titles lol? and what's with the voting process being so secretive anyway? shouldn't they just be honest about why they're making these decisions 
But at the same time, I get why they had to pull the plug - the allegations against him are pretty serious, and the whole thing was super messy 
In my eyes, Giggs should still be part of the Hall of Fame 
he doesn't deserve to have his hall of fame moment tarnished by some messy personal stuff that's already been sorted out
