Prepare for takeoff: which football teams play closest to airports? | The Knowledge

You know I'm getting on in years now 😊. The other day I was watching an old match with my grandkids and we got into a discussion about how much things have changed in football since I was young. It's funny, the questions you ask about past events or stats can really bring back memories for people like me who grew up playing the game.

I was thinking, it's interesting that some of these records are still being broken to this day, and new ones are being set all the time. It just goes to show how dynamic the sport is and how much there is to learn and discover about football.

And I have to say, it's lovely to see people like Moise Kean getting recognition for his achievements on the pitch, even if he only had a short spell with Fiorentina 🤝. Anyway, just my two cents from an old codger who's still passionate about the beautiful game 😊.

Ugh I'm literally dying over here! Can someone please confirm if my memory is correct about that last league cup final between Leeds United and Arsenal in 1989? Like I know it's a historical event but how can you not even give an answer to that?! It's like the article is trolling us or something... 🤯🏟️😡

OMG u guys I'm literally blown away by that question 9 from the article 😲 Berwick Rangers bookending a calendar year with a 2-1 win is just insane lol can u imagine being part of that team 🤯 I've been following Scottish football for ages and I had no idea this was even possible 💥

🤔 just thinking about old footy trivia is giving me nostalgia vibes 🏟️ remember those league cup finals from the 80s and 90s? like, who even kept score back then? haha 😂 and 10-and-a-half minutes on the pitch for that player of the match? what a feat! 🤯 anyway, i'm curious about berwick rangers bookending the year with wins... are they like some underdog team that's always flying under the radar or something? 🤔

omg can u believe some clubs still dont show their tv wins? like, i get it not all matches are super high profile but come on. that 2-1 win by Berwick Rangers sounds like something 🤪 would happen in a footy tournament tho. btw, has anyone else noticed how some players just come in and steal the match? Moise Kean scoring that winning goal as a sub is wild 🏆

I'm not sure if I agree with the article saying that Moise Kean being named player of the match for scoring a winning goal in 10-and-a-half minutes is actually the shortest time a player has ever been on the pitch to receive that award 🤔... maybe it's still longer than some other instances?
