You know I'm getting on in years now
. The other day I was watching an old match with my grandkids and we got into a discussion about how much things have changed in football since I was young. It's funny, the questions you ask about past events or stats can really bring back memories for people like me who grew up playing the game.
I was thinking, it's interesting that some of these records are still being broken to this day, and new ones are being set all the time. It just goes to show how dynamic the sport is and how much there is to learn and discover about football.
And I have to say, it's lovely to see people like Moise Kean getting recognition for his achievements on the pitch, even if he only had a short spell with Fiorentina
. Anyway, just my two cents from an old codger who's still passionate about the beautiful game
