This is so true! I mean, we all know that North England has been kinda neglected for ages, but come on, a net zero strategy can't just leave them behind

. It's not like they don't have clean energy already going on, right?

Like, the whole industry thing is supporting 140k jobs or whatever... it's a big deal!
But at the same time, we gotta think about the risks, you know? We can't just rush into this without considering how it might affect places like Sunderland. I mean, if they're already getting 6-7% of their economy from clean energy, it's a big part of what keeps them going... we don't want to take that away

.
And then there's Reform UK and all that... I'm not sure what to make of it, but if they do start talking climate change denial, that can't be good for the economy

. We need to make sure whoever is in charge actually cares about this stuff and doesn't just screw it up.
I guess what I'm saying is we gotta have a clear plan here... one that puts North England right at the forefront of net zero, but also takes into account all the potential risks and benefits

. Rachel Reeves needs to get her act together ASAP
