man thats sad news richeard codey was a legend in nj politics, been following his career since i was a kid remember when he took over as acting governor back in 2004? that guy was a true public servant, always putting the state first didnt matter what party you were on or where you came from, he'd still find ways to bring people together & get things done. his legacy will live on for generations to come cant say im surprised he passed away peacefully at home after a brief illness though, he was only 79 i'm gonna miss seeing his name in the news, but at least we can take comfort knowing he left an indelible mark on nj & beyond
man he was such an icon in nj politics 50 yrs in the state legislature is crazy and the fact that he was a unifying force between parties is so admirable he really did leave a lasting legacy for the state and it's awesome to see leaders across parties paying tribute to him his focus on mental health care & gun safety issues is also super important for us today can't wait to hear about the celebration of life coming up, gonna be tough not seeing his smiling face around

RIP Richard Codey . He was truly one of a kind, always putting people before politics. I remember reading about him back in the day when he served as acting governor... what a statesman! His commitment to mental health care and stem cell research is something that should be emulated by lawmakers today. And let's not forget his iconic arena - Dick Codey Arena is still a testament to his lasting legacy οΈ. My heart goes out to his family, he will be deeply missed .
