Scotland v Argentina: Rory Darge starts in one change for hosts

Scotland has named its team to face Argentina in the Autumn Nations Series, with Darcy Graham starting alongside Rory Hutchinson as Scotland look to bounce back from their last weekend's defeat by New Zealand.

In a change to the usual back-row pairing of Matt Fagerson and Duhan van der Merwe, Glasgow Warriors' utility man Rory Darge is replacing the Edinburgh team-mate on the bench. However, it's his teammate Sione Tuipulotu who will replace Fagerson in the starting XV at number eight.

Darcy Graham has been handed a 50th cap for Scotland and he made his mark when he marked his own 50th cap with two tries against the United States last week. He shared that record with Edinburgh team-mate D'arcy Rae, who is also on the bench this weekend.

Scotland's coach Gregor Townsend praised Graham for his improvement in his game. "He's really improved his game too. When he first came through, he was very difficult to defend because of his footwork and his strength, but he's added so much more to his game."

The Scots will face Argentina at the Scottish Gas Murrayfield, Edinburgh on Sunday with a 15:10 GMT kick-off. Townsend said they would need to be at their best to overcome a side that has beaten New Zealand this year.

Scotland: Blair Kinghorn (Toulouse), Darcy Graham (Edinburgh), Rory Hutchinson (Northampton Saints), Sione Tuipulotu (Glasgow Warriors, capt), Kyle Steyn (Glasgow Warriors); Finn Russell (Bath), Ben White (Toulon); Pierre Schoeman (Edinburgh), Ewan Ashman (Edinburgh Rugby), D'arcy Rae (Edinburgh); Scott Cummings (Glasgow Warriors), Grant Gilchrist (Edinburgh), Gregor Brown (Glasgow Warriors), Rory Darge (Glasgow Warriors), Jack Dempsey (Glasgow Warriors).

Replacements: George Turner (Harlequins), Nathan McBeth (Glasgow Warriors), Elliot Millar Mills (Northampton Saints), Josh Bayliss (Bath), Matt Fagerson (Glasgow Warriors), Jamie Dobie (Glasgow Warriors), Tom Jordan (Bristol Bears), Duhan van der Merwe (Edinburgh).

Ugh, 50 caps for Darcy Graham and he's still playing like a rookie πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ. I mean, two tries against the US isn't impressive when you consider the quality of opposition they faced. Scotland is gonna get destroyed by Argentina on Sunday πŸ‰. The only good news is that Sione Tuipulotu is starting at 8 instead of Matt Fagerson... which doesn't really make a difference since Scotland's back-row is all over the shop πŸ˜‚. I'm still waiting for Gregor Townsend to explain why he keeps making these baffling changes πŸ€”.

omg i'm so hyped for the match this weekend 🀩 darcy graham is gonna smash it on his 50th cap and i'm loving how scotland's been working hard to bounce back from that new zealand loss 😬 rory hutchinson and sione tuipulotu are gonna bring the heat at 13 and 8 respectively 🀯 and btw did u know darcy graham shared a record with d'arcy rae who's also on the bench? talk about squad goals πŸ’– i'm watching the match with my friends and we're all so excited to see our boys in action πŸΊπŸ‘

Scotland's team selection is a solid one, but I think they're underestimating Argentina πŸ€”. They've beaten New Zealand this year and that's no easy feat. Scotland needs to bring their A-game if they want to come out on top. I'm curious to see how Sione Tuipulotu performs at number eight - he's got a big role to play in the back row. Darcy Graham is still getting better, but he'll need to be more clinical in front of goal if Scotland are going to get over the line πŸ‰. The crowd at Murrayfield will definitely be behind them, so let's hope they can deliver a good performance 🎟️!

Darcy Graham gettin 50 caps for Scotland? Not bad, but what's with the team selection tho? Startin Darge over Fagerson? That's like puttin a flanker in the back row πŸ€”. And what's up with Tuipulotu comin in at 8 instead of Van der Merwe? Townsend says they gotta be at their best to beat Argentina, but I think they're hidin somethin πŸ€‘. Graham's game has improved, sure, but he's still not the most solid flanker out there. Scotland's got a tough one ahead of 'em...

Scotland's back-to-back defeats are getting me worried 😬, they need to step up their game if they wanna take down Argentina. I think Darcy Graham is a dark horse for this match, he's been on fire lately 🀯 and his improvement in the game is impressive. The new starting lineup looks solid, especially with Sione Tuipulotu at number eight. Let's see how they execute their strategy at Murrayfield ⚽️, it's gonna be an intense match πŸ”₯

just hope scotland can bounce back from that loss to new zealand 🀞, darcy graham's 50th cap is a big deal and i love how coach townsend is highlighting his improvement in the game πŸ™Œ, but argentina are looking pretty tough this season too... think scotland might need to bring their A-game if they wanna take them down 😬, also gotta say Rory Hutchinson playing alongside graham on the same side is gonna be super interesting to watch πŸ‘€

πŸ€” I'm loving the fact that Darcy Graham is finally getting his due recognition after those awesome tries against the US! πŸ‰πŸ’ͺ He's had a great season so far, and it's awesome to see Scotland giving him a chance to shine alongside Rory Hutchinson in the Autumn Nations Series. 🎯 As for Argentina, I'm thinking they're gonna be tough to beat since they already took down New Zealand this year... 😬 Let's hope Scotland can pull off an upset! βš”οΈ

I'm thinking, Scotland's team selection is pretty solid for the Autumn Nations Series. They're looking to bounce back from that tough loss against New Zealand and I think they've got a good mix of experience and youth on their side πŸ€”.

Darcy Graham's 50th cap is a big deal and he's clearly made an impact with those two tries against the US last week πŸ’ͺ. I'm glad Gregor Townsend is giving him more recognition for his improvement in the game - he was always a threat when he first came through, but now he's got even more tools in his toolbox 🎯.

The back-row pairing of Tuipulotu and Graham at number eight looks promising, especially against Argentina's forward pack πŸ‰. And I like that they're mixing things up with Rory Darge on the bench - it shows they're willing to experiment and try new things πŸ’‘.

Of course, beating New Zealand is no easy feat, but if anyone can do it, it's Scotland πŸ‘. They've just got to be at their best and play some smart rugby πŸ†. Bring on Sunday's game against Argentina!

Just saw that Scotland's squad for the Argentina game is out and I gotta say, I'm not surprised they're giving Darcy Graham a chance to start... he's been on fire lately! πŸš€ 50 caps and counting, eh? Sounds like Coach Townsend has faith in him too. Anyway, gotta wonder if this change in back-row will give them the edge they need against Argentina. Fingers crossed for Scotland, though! πŸ˜…

Wow 🀯 Scotland is really stepping up their game with this lineup. They need to bring that energy and teamwork against Argentina, especially since they've beaten New Zealand already! Interesting 😊 the fact that Darcy Graham has improved so much, it's awesome to see him break records like that. Hopefully, Sione Tuipulotu will help them dominate at number eight.

I mean, 50 caps for Darcy Graham and he's still playing like a beast 🀯. I love how Gregor Townsend is praising him for improving his game though. It's great to see the players taking feedback on board and working on their skills.

But, you know, I'm not convinced about this back-row change. Sione Tuipulotu at eight might be a bit of a risk. And what's with Rory Darge on the bench? Can't he start instead? πŸ€”

Still, Scotland's got a tough draw against Argentina, and they'll need to bring their A-game if they wanna bounce back from that New Zealand loss. It's gonna be a close one, folks! πŸ‰

πŸ˜” I feel like Scotland is really struggling right now, all these big teams beating them left and right... but you know what's great to see? The way Darcy Graham is taking his game to the next level! πŸ’ͺ That 50th cap milestone was huge for him and it's awesome that he's shared that record with his teammate D'arcy Rae 🀝. Coach Gregor Townsend seems to be recognizing Graham's growth too, which is super cool 😊. It'll be interesting to see how Scotland performs against Argentina this weekend... they're going to need to bring their A-game if they wanna bounce back from that New Zealand loss πŸ’₯

Scotland's team looks so nervous ahead of the match against Argentina πŸ€”πŸ‰. They lost to New Zealand last week and now they need to bounce back. I'm not sure about starting Darcy Graham alongside Rory Hutchinson, he was on fire last week when he scored two tries but maybe Scotland should have gone with a more defensive strategy ⚠️.

Their coach Gregor Townsend seems to think that Graham has improved his game though and that's good news for the team 🀞. They'll definitely need to be at their best if they want to beat Argentina, who've beaten New Zealand this year 😲. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Scotland, it could be an interesting match πŸ’ͺ

Scotland's got a new team to take on Argentina, and I'm rooting for Darcy Graham - he's like the Eddie Howe of Scottish rugby, always scoring goals... er, tries! 50 caps and counting, and he's still got that speedster vibe going on. Gregor Townsend is onto something with this guy, let's hope they can bounce back from that New Zealand loss πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ. Argentina's looking fierce, but I think Scotland's got this - it's gonna be a real barn burner at Murrayfield! ⚽️

Scotland's Autumn Nations Series is gonna be lit this weekend! Darcy Graham is on fire after his 50th cap and scoring two tries against the States last week 🀩. I'm loving how Scotland's coach Gregor Townsend is giving props to Graham for his improvement in the game - it shows he trusts him to lead the team forward πŸ’ͺ. This game against Argentina could be a real nail-biter, especially since they've beaten New Zealand this year πŸ”₯. The starting XV looks solid, but I'm still rooting for our scrum-half Finn Russell to bring home that win 🀞. Bring on Sunday at Murrayfield! ⚽️

I THINK SCOTLAND'S CHANCE OF WINNING THIS GAME IS HIGH!!! THEY'VE GOT A STRONG TEAM AND DARYC GRAHAM IS ON FIRE RIGHT NOW!!! HE MADE HIS 50TH CAP IN STYLE WITH THOSE TWO TRIES AGAINST THE UNITED STATES AND I'M SURE HE'LL MAKE IT COUNT AGAINST ARGENTINA!!! GREGOR TOWNSEND MUST BE REALLY PROUD OF HIM AND THE REST OF THE TEAM, THEY'VE GOT THIS!!!

πŸ‰ Scotland's gonna need to bring their A-game if they wanna take down Argentina... Darcy Graham's been on fire lately and starting alongside Rory Hutchinson could be the spark they need 🌟. Fagerson getting replaced by Sione Tuipulotu is an interesting move, hope it pays off for them. Still a tough match ahead, gonna be interesting to see how it all unfolds ⏰.

so they're gonna try to bounce back from that loss to NZ, huh? i mean, Darcy Graham's been doing alright for himself, but 50 caps? that's a big ask. Scotland's got some talent, don't get me wrong, but Argentina's not exactly the weakest link in the rugby world. coach Townsend's right though, they'll need to bring their A-game if they wanna take down the Argies. i'm kinda rooting for the underdogs here 🀞
