This whole thing is just so messed up... like, I get that we need to hold people accountable for their actions, but Marius Borg Hoiby's royal status can't protect him from consequences, right?

It's not about being sympathetic towards him because of who his mom is, it's about acknowledging that what he did was wrong and that those women deserve justice.
I think it's interesting that the prosecution is relying on circumstantial evidence to build their case. Like, how much evidence do we really have that Marius actually committed these acts?

I'm not saying that's an excuse for him or anything, but I think we need to be careful about jumping to conclusions based on hearsay and speculation.
This whole thing raises some big questions about power dynamics and how it affects our ability to hold people in positions of authority accountable. Like, Mette-Marit is a member of the royal family, she's got connections and influence... can that really level the playing field for Marius?

I don't think so. The law needs to apply equally to everyone, regardless of who they are or where they come from.
It's going to be tough to see how this all plays out, but hopefully we'll get some answers soon and justice will be served.
