Source: Sixers trade Eric Gordon to Memphis Grizzlies

the 76ers are really trying to clean house now its like theyre selling off their old guys to free up space for youngbloods gotta respect that move though, still sad to see eric gordon go he wasnt the same player anymore but i guess thats what happens when you get older and your game slows down 🤔.

🤯 I gotta say, this trade is straight fire 🔥! The 76ers are being real about their situation and trying to clear cap space for the future. Eric Gordon's been underutilized in Philly, so it's no surprise they're cutting ties. 🚫 The Grizzlies, on the other hand, are making a bold move by adding a veteran scorer to bolster their young core. Ziaire Williams and Vince Jr are gonna thrive with Gordon on board! 👊 This trade is all about building for next season, not just trying to win now. It's a smart business move that'll pay off in the long run... fingers crossed Gordon can still bring it! 🤞

I think the 76ers made a pretty smart move by trading Eric Gordon to Memphis 🤔💡. They're clearly trying to get under the luxury tax threshold and create some cap space, which is crucial for building a competitive team in the East 🏆. By taking on Gordon's salary, they're essentially freeing up some of that dough to sign other players who can make a real difference.

On the flip side, it's gotta be tough for Gordon, who was already seeing limited minutes off the bench 😔. He needs to prove himself and show he can still contribute at an elite level. The Grizzlies are taking a bit of a risk by signing him up, but if they're willing to commit that kind of money, I think it's worth a shot 💸.

I'm also curious to see how this trade impacts the Sixers' rebuild plans 📈. They've been looking to build around young players like Tyrese Maxey and Joel Embiid for years now, so it'll be interesting to see what other moves they make to bolster their roster 🤞.

um this trade makes sense i guess, philly's been trying to rebuild for ages but they just keep bringing in players who aren't that great anymore, eric gordon was always gonna be a stretch 4, so its not like he was gonna make a huge difference anyway 🤔 meanwhile memphis is getting some young talent and hopefully they can build something around it... i mean its cool that philly's trying to shed some salary but do u think they're really gonna use the draft pick for justinian jessup or will they trade him too?

I'm a bit surprised by Philly's decision to trade away Eric Gordon, considering he's still relatively young and has shown glimpses of his past form 🤔. However, it's clear that their front office is prioritizing cap space and making strategic moves to bolster their roster for the future.

The trade itself seems like a calculated risk for both teams – Memphis gets a veteran presence that can help develop their young core, while Philly sheds some salary and potentially clears room for more significant acquisitions 📈. It'll be interesting to see how Gordon adapts to his new role in Memphis and whether he can rekindle his form with a fresh start.

I'm also intrigued by the trade package – the Grizzlies getting draft rights to Justinian Jessup could prove to be a valuable asset, while Philly's cap space gains will likely be used to bolster their bench or acquire more talent 🔮. Only time will tell if this move pays off for both teams 🤞

aww man thats gotta be tough for eric gordon 🤕 he's been through so much with the 76ers already, and now its time to start fresh in memphis 😊 hopefully he finds some more playing time and gets back into form 🔥 that trade is definitely a strategic move by philly to shed cap space tho 🤑 but its also exciting for memphis to have gordon on board, they've got some young talent and this could be the push they need to make a run in the playoffs 💪 fingers crossed eric can make it happen 😊
