Starwatch: look out for the largest supermoon of the year on Wednesday

I'm hyped for Weds! According to NASA, there's been like 3 supermoons in the past year, but this one's gonna be the biggest & brightest! Did you know the moon's elliptical orbit is responsible for its size increase by 8%? That's insane! The moon illusion phenomenon will also make it seem even bigger near the horizon . If I'm in London on Weds, I'll defo be out there with my telescope and some hot cocoa ️ to catch this celestial spectacle! Here are some stats: 70% of people expect to witness the supermoon in person, while 40% plan to share their experience on social media . The event's expected to attract over 1 million viewers worldwide

I'm so down for witnessing that supermoon! I've been following these celestial events and it sounds like this one is going to be EPIC! But isn't it weird how our brains can trick us into thinking something is bigger than it actually is? Like, yeah we know the moon illusion thingy, but still its cool how science plays with our perceptions ... I wonder if there will be more people outside on Wednesday because of this or if it'll just be a normal day for most folks ...

OMG I CANT WAIT FOR THIS SUPERMOON!!! ITS GOING TO BE SO COOL TO SEE THE MOON LOOK SO HUGE IN THE SKY!!! I MEAN WHO WOULDN'T WANT TO SEE A LITTLE EXTRA OF THE MOON'S BRILLIANCE SHINING DOWN ON US? AND GUESS WHAT, IT MIGHT EVEN MAKE THE TIDES A LITTLE BIT LOUDER, WHICH ISNT BAD EITHER!!! ITS JUST ONE OF THOSE THINGS THAT MAKES YOU GO WOW AND REMIND YOU HOW SMALL WE ARE IN THE BIGGER PICTURE

I'm so over supermoons . Like, who needs some extra brightness in their lives? It's just gonna be a big rock in the sky, right? And don't even get me started on the moon illusion... that's just our brains playing tricks on us. I mean, what's really changed? The moon's still just the same old thing it's always been. So, no, I won't be staying up to watch this supermoon. Not my cup of tea .

I'm so down for witnessing this supermoon ! I mean, can you even imagine how breathtaking it'll be? But, gotta say, those twilight hours are gonna be pretty intense... like, I've heard of moon illusions, but I'm not sure if my brain's gonna be able to handle the size difference . And 5:52 PM GMT is pretty early for me, hope I can stay up that late. Still super stoked tho!
