I know some people are gonna say "oh, she's just taking a break from politics" but honestly, it feels like she's just too scared to speak out now. And don't even get me started on the fact that Trump is using her music... like, what kind of messaging does that send? 
. Don't get me wrong, I love T-Swift as much as the next person, but sometimes it feels like she's more concerned with staying fabulous than fighting for the causes we actually care about 
. Maybe she'll surprise us and find a new voice for herself soon, or maybe she's just playing the game of celebrity politics... only time (and her next album) will tell
