Tech Traveler’s Guide to Seattle: Where to Stay, Eat, and Recharge

Here is the article with the navigation menu and other elements removed, leaving only the text of the guide:

**Seattle for Business Travelers**

Seattle remains an outstanding craft beer town, with world-class bottle shops (Bottleworks) and breweries (Machine House, Stoup, Holy Mountain) very much worth your time. But if a solid pub with local craft beer is what you seek, I love the Hopvine, whose tap list changes constantly but always features notable local breweries from around the Pacific Northwest in a cozy, convivial pub atmosphere. For extra credit, check out another great Seattle beer institution, the Stumbling Monk, which specializes in Belgian beer.

**Craft Beer Bars**

* Hopvine Pub: 507 15th Avenue E
* Stumbling Monk: 2200 2nd Avenue

Seattle is a great cocktail town, and some significant amount of the city’s cocktail scene has flowed in and out of this space in Pioneer Square over the years. The space is awash in natural light, beautifully open inside and great for hosting a small group. Drink an ideal version of your favorite cocktail here, or order from the ever-changing and concise menu of originals, which happily includes several low- or no-ABV options.

* Roquette: 2232 1st Avenue
* Pacific Standard Time: 1923 7th Avenue

**Fine Dining**

Civility & Unrest is one of the best mall cocktail bars in America, hidden away in a basement corner of Lincoln Square, adjacent to the W Bellevue hotel. Classic and modern cocktails, upscale food, a monster mezcal list, and so, so much whisk(e)y are what you’ll find here at this, probably the chicest place to sneak a drink in all of Seattle’s Eastside.

* Chicha San Chen Bubble Tea: Multiple locations
* Dough Zone: 10300 Main Street, multiple locations

**Outdoor Activities**

If you have more time, consider a visit to Golden Gardens Park, located in the far north of the city with sweeping views of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains. You’ll need a car to get there, but it’s so very worth it; few cities in the world can offer an urban park experience like this.

* Washington Park Arboretum: 2300 Arboretum Drive E

**Cannabis**

Perhaps cannabis is illegal in the state or country in which you dwell, but in Washington it’s been recreationally legal since 2012. In the decade-plus since, an upswell of cannabis dispensaries have opened across Seattle—more than 100 total within city limits. My personal favorite is Shawn Kemp’s Cannabis (and not just because I remember his dunks from NBA Jam); this spot is stacked with every kind of joint and edible and high-tech hash product you could ever dream of, plus the gear you’ll need to smoke it. If you’re not used to the stuff, start mellow, and ask your budtender to recommend something sessionable to ease you in.

**Getting Around**

Seattle has several public transportation options, including buses, light rail, and streetcars. You can also use ride-sharing services like Uber or Lyft to get around.

* Taxi: Multiple locations

I THINK SEATTLE IS SUCH A BEAUTIFUL CITY!!! I MEAN, THE CRAFT BEER SCENE THERE IS INSANE!!! I WENT TO THE HOPVINE PUB LAST YEAR AND IT WAS SO COZY AND FUN!!! THEY HAVE THE BEST TAP LIST EVER! I ALSO HEARD THAT PIONEER SQUARE HAS AN AMAZING COCKTAIL SCENE - I'M DETERMINED TO CHECK IT OUT NEXT TIME I'M IN SEATTLE 🍸👍

🤩 "The best way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing." 💼 I'm all about trying new things, especially when it comes to exploring Seattle! From amazing craft beer spots like Hopvine and Stumbling Monk, to incredible cocktail bars like Roquette, to the beautiful outdoor activities at Golden Gardens Park... there's just so much to see and do in this city. And let's not forget about all the awesome cannabis dispensaries, like Shawn Kemp's Cannabis - who knew it could be so fun? 🌿💁‍♀️

omg i just saw that seattle has like a ton of great breweries 🍺 i've always wanted to visit but i don't know where to start what's up with the cannabis scene btw is it really okay to just walk around with edibles everywhere? 😂 also who is jordan michlmann and why do they have an instagram account about their suitcase 🤣

I gotta say, I'm all about that fine dining life 🍴, but then again, maybe not so much when it comes to the prices at Civility & Unrest... they're just too steep for my taste 👀. And have you seen the lines at Roquette? I mean, I love a good cocktail as much as the next guy, but all that hype is just not worth waiting in line for 20 minutes 🤯. On the other hand, I've heard great things about Hopvine Pub and Stumbling Monk - they're my go-to spots when I'm looking for a more laid-back vibe 🎶. But then again, maybe the cocktail scene in Pioneer Square is just overrated...

omg what's up with seattle being basically a haven for every type of drink 🍺🍹🌸? from craft beer bars like hopvine and stumbling monk to fancy cocktail spots like roquette, it's like they're trying to outdo each other in terms of quality and atmosphere. but honestly, i think that's what makes seattle so great – there's something for everyone here. and don't even get me started on the cannabis scene 🌿💦... like, have you seen Shawn Kemp's Cannabis? it's a whole thing. anyway, if you're planning a trip to seattle anytime soon, make sure to check out some of these spots and enjoy the city in all its boozy glory 😎

omg i'm so down for seattle business travelers 🤩 like the hopvine pub sounds hella cozy and their tap list always features local brews that's exactly what i need after a long day of classes at uw 😴 1st avenue is def worth checking out too, can't wait to try those cocktails 👍

Seattle's nightlife scene is literally lit 🤩! From great craft beer pubs to fancy cocktail bars, there's something for everyone. I'm also loving the cannabis dispensaries - like Shawn Kemp's Cannabis, they're so on point 🤓. And can we talk about Golden Gardens Park? It's literally a gem right in the heart of the city 🌳💚. If you ever find yourself in Seattle, make sure to check these spots out! They'll give you a taste of the city's awesomeness 😎

I gotta say, Seattle's got some awesome spots for foodies and drinkies 🍴🍹! If I'm being honest, I've been to some great craft breweries like Stoup and Holy Mountain, but I also love chillin' at the Hopvine pub with a pint of their local brews 🤩. And have you tried Pacific Standard Time's cocktails? Mind blown, dude! 😲 They really know how to do it right. But seriously, if you're looking for something low-key, Civility & Unrest in Lincoln Square is a great spot for some upscale drinks and grub 👌. Just be prepared for the price tag... 💸

omg u guys i had the best time ever in seattle last month 🤩 i stayed in pioneer square for like 3 nights and drank so much craft beer at roquette 🍻 their menu changes daily but they always have some amazing cocktails and can make anything to order 👍 i also went to the stumbling monk which is literally a belgian beer paradise 🎉 and got some great advice from the bartender on where to find good cannabis spots in the city 🌿 shawn kemp's cannabis is def my fave spot rn btw have u guys ever been to golden gardens park? it's literally a whole different world up there with those views of puget sound and the olympics 😍

Seattle is like the ultimate destination for beer lovers 🍺👍! I mean, you've got these sick breweries popping up everywhere and amazing pubs like Hopvine that always have some crazy-good local beers on tap. But what's weird about this article is how everything seems so... commercialized? Like, every time you turn a corner, there's another fancy cocktail bar or upscale restaurant trying to compete with each other. I get it, Seattle's a great city and all, but can't we just keep some of the charm of the old days? 🤷‍♀️

And what about the cannabis scene? I mean, I'm not even sure if that's really worth mentioning in an article about travel guides for business folks. Like, I guess it's a part of Seattle culture now and all, but let's just say I'd rather focus on something more... practical. 🤑

omg i love seattle 🤩 i was there like last year and had an amazing time at the hopvine pub their craft beer selection is insane 💥 i'm also a huge fan of the stumbling monk for belgian beers, but i loved the roquette for cocktails too 🍸 it's crazy how much seattle has changed since i was there in 2018, all these new spots are popping up everywhere 🤯 have you tried any good restaurants or breweries recently? 😁

omg I'm so glad i got to try out roquette's menu 😂 they have like literally the best cocktails ever and their bartenders are super knowledgeable too. I mean, who needs a boring old happy hour when you can have expertly crafted drinks that'll make you wanna cry tears of joy? Pacific standard time is also a great spot for brunch lol their eggs benedict is to die for 💀 and civility & unrest is just the perfect place to impress your date 🎉 or just treat yourself to a fancy drink alone (no judgments). but honestly, can we talk about how much i love seattle's food scene? it's like, who needs fancy restaurants when you have amazing beer bars and great pubs like hopvine?!

I just saw that there's like so many awesome places to visit and hang out in Seattle, you know? Like, have you been to the Hopvine Pub yet? I was there last year with my friends and we had an amazing time trying all these craft beers. And then we went to the Roquette cocktail bar afterwards and tried some of their super tasty drinks. I think what really sets Seattle apart is its vibe - it's just so chill and welcoming, you feel like anyone can come in and have a good time. And the food? Forget about it! We had this amazing burger at one of the dough zones that was literally to die for 🤯. Anyways, if you're planning on visiting Seattle, I would def recommend checking out some of these spots - they're all pretty amazing in their own ways 😊

ugh, another article with way too many places to visit in seattle... it's like they're trying to overwhelm us with options 🤯 can't they just give me 2-3 recs for a solid pub or cocktail bar? and what's up with the lack of info on public transportation costs or schedules? wouldn't that be helpful for actual business travelers? 😒

I'm thinking about visiting Seattle soon 🤔. I've always loved their craft beer scene and now they have great cocktail bars too! Roquette sounds like my kinda place, all that natural light is a must for me ☀️. And if I've got some time to spare, Golden Gardens Park looks stunning, love the idea of an urban park with views of Puget Sound 🌊. Has anyone else been to Seattle recently? What are the must-visit spots? 🤗

I gotta disagree with all these great recs 🤔. I mean, who needs craft beer when you can have, like, normal beer that's not gonna break the bank? And don't even get me started on those fancy cocktail bars - ouch! Just give me a plain old whiskey and soda any day of the week. And while we're at it, why bother with all these new-agey "sessionable" cannabis products when you can just stick with good ol' fashioned bud? Not to mention, all this fuss about getting around Seattle - just take a bus or something, geez!

Seattle's cannabis scene is lit 🌳👍! Shawn Kemp's Cannabis is literally the best spot to get all your herb needs - I mean, who wouldn't want to shop at a dispensary named after an NBA legend? 😂 The selection is insane and the staff is super knowledgeable. I've been using them for years and I always find something new to try. Plus, it's dope that it's family-owned and operated... yeah, I went there 🤣 Anyway, if you're in Seattle and you're looking for some top-notch cannabis, look no further than Shawn Kemp's Cannabis 👍

Seattle 🌆 is so underrated for its food scene, imo 🤔. Fine dining spots like Civility & Unrest are just the tip of the iceberg - there are so many hidden gems waiting to be discovered in Pioneer Square and beyond 🍴. And can we talk about the cannabis game? Shawn Kemp's Cannabis is a total game-changer 😂.

🤔 I'm loving how Seattle's all about that craft beer life, you know? Like, it's not just about the breweries, but also the pubs and cocktail bars 🍺🍸. And can we talk about the outdoor activities? Golden Gardens Park sounds like a total gem 🌳💚. But what I'm really curious about is how Seattle's cannabis scene has evolved since it became legal in 2012 🤯. From Shawn Kemp's Cannabis to all those other dispensaries, it's crazy to think about how far it's come. And have you ever been to a city with such a strong public transportation system? It makes navigating the city so much easier 🚂💨.
