I'm not sold on this whole "comfort TV" thing. It sounds like a bunch of people just watching the same old shows over and over again without really thinking about why they're so drawn to them. Is it really just because they make us feel all warm and fuzzy inside, or is there something more to it? I mean, don't get me wrong, I love a good guilty pleasure as much as the next person, but do we ever stop to think about how our viewing habits are shaping who we are?
And another thing, what's the point of watching the same old shows over and over again when there's so much amazing content out there that's actually pushing boundaries and trying new things? I mean, have you seen any of those new Netflix documentaries or indie films? Now those are worth watching... but no, instead we're all just going to stick with what we know and love.
